The soldering station is fairly complete with almost all the items that you need for all kind of soldering jobs. I think the only thing missing would be a helping hands stand but that I already have. It comes with 5 tips with the fine point installed from factory. I changed it to the chisel point since I'm using it to make 18650 battery packs and need the extra surface contact to do the job. Everything went smoothly and temperature control is very good and precise. It heats up quickly to the set temperature. The soldering iron handle is very slim and compact but it has enough heat even for bigger gauge wires and applications. The capability of the soldering iron is above expectations. Temperature can be se to C or F but I use it mainly in F since that is what we are used to here in the US. The light is bright enough for good visibility. The fan is slightly on the noisy side but it is better to be effective that silent. You can hear it but is not distracting. I will take sucking power over silent any day. Overall I'm very happy with this soldering station.

I'm a life long electronics person, always soldering something. I was browsing for a new solder station and this unit with smoked extractor AND bright work light are the bomb! The iron is the most responsive one I've ever used, heats up in under 60 seconds. The LCD display backlight turns yellow when heating and white when ready. The extractor fan is quite powerful and while I like the smell of rosin, it's best to have it whisked away. I like the way the fan/light can be easily positioned with a single lock button push. The unit came with several style tips but I mainly use fine tips. I was concerned about replacents but it turns out that this style is very popular. I found a 10 pack for around $10 here on Amazon (4mm ID x 6mm OD). Also, the irons cord jacket is silicone which is great for long life and accidental cord burns. Overall this is a very nice solder station, good value.

So far it's been pretty awesome all in one kit. I think the temp might be a little inaccurate, but overall works greats.

Started good but after first to welds it stopped holding temp. Turned it up to max and still nothing. I felt the heat burnt my finger tips a few times but wouldn't melt the soldering wire. Then it suddenly jump temp and then drop out. Suddenly would melt it but then just as fast stop. Frustrating and I think due to the sudden spikes trying to hold on board it damaged it. Maybe defective but this one is terrible.

Works well and gets to temp quickly. Holds temp well. Very easy to transport if necessary and LED and fan are excellent additions. Seems well made. Con: Setting orientation of fan/LED is a little sloppy. The slots that it can click into seem to be wider than the pivoting fan/LED so there’s some play when changing angle. Not an issue once you set the angle but seems like that is where this unit will break if/when it does. If you’re not rough with it I don’t expect an issue.

Power on/off and temperature control is clear and easy to use. Iron heats up quickly. High quality iron and wiring. Good strain relief on the iron wiring. The light and the fan/filter are great features. Personally, i think the product could be improved by allowing the fan to be moved without pressing the button to release the lock. I think the lock will be broken easily. Overall, great product for the money.

This soldering iron is great, it heats up in seconds. The light is very bright and the exhaust fan works well. I tested the temperature with an external thermocouple and it seems to be calibrated well.

This is a good surprise, this unit works and is a smart design. Booth spot lighting and fumes removal are functional features. tracking of temperature is also good. This unit is recommended.
