Q: Kettle comes up with E7 code. Is there something I can do to fix this or is it faulty?

I believe is a fault. Mine does not have such error code (and never did)

Q: Hi has anyone else got the writing rubbing off especially the set and start button? Only had a few weeks.

Hadn’t noticed until you mentioned it but now I’ve looked - yes! We’ve had it about 3 months I think. I’d be interested to hear the outcome. Weve found also that the amount of time to register boiling and switch off has increased which is disappointing as one of the reasons I chose this was so that I wouldn’t have steam pumping out into the house.

I think the kettle probably has a guarantee, depending on how long you have had it and what happened to make the lid break off. I would contact the seller
