VB-2W Vibrato | Premium Waza Craft Guitar Effect Pedal with Analog Circuitry | True Reproduction of the Legendary BOSS VB-2 Vibrato | Standard & Custom Playing Modes

Much like other waza pedals I have owned, this pedal feels solid and well built. It doesn’t appear to color your tone very much, which I appreciate. The vibrato effect is a nice change of pace to chorus that I have used in the past and I prefer the warble of the a vibrato than that of chorus lately. My only gripe is that I wish it could go a little bit slower. Both modes sound fantastic, while the custom mode appears to sound a little darker than the stock, or standard mode of the pedal. Here’s a couple ways I like to use it: Pair this with the DM-2w ( or other delay without modulation) to get modulated style delays. Run it before your drives or fuzz, to provide subtle movement to your sound. Put it in unlatched mode, and use the foot-switch to temporary bring vibrato in and out, to mimic using a tremolo bar or bigsby character. I love this pedal, a mainstay on my small pedalboard along some other favorites from boss. I appreciate the value and no-bs approach to boss pedals. I will continue to purchase their products.

Excellent build quality and functionality. Instantly one of my favorite pedals on my Bass pedal board. Great sound quality, zero distortion or hum. I really dig the "unlatched" setting that allows control via foot press. The standard/Custom switch is a nice touch as well.

Boss is at the top of their craft for a reason. The DM-2w and CE-2w also deserve consideration for this line. While all the Waza line are capable of more than most musicians needs. The DM-2w, VB-2w, and CE-2w are exceptional.

If your looking for an amazing rotary sound, this is it. This pedal can also get that cool "seasick" sound too!

This is an exceptionally solid, versatile guitar pedal. Well, versatile if you really like wiggly sounds! I know of no other pedal in this price range that does what this can do. While not as controllable as a Floyd Rose or whammy bar, I recommend if your guitar lacks these features or you can't be bothered to go through the painstaking sacrifices of using them (namely, the limits of a Floyd locking nut and bridge in speed of string changes/alt tunings, or any other guitar's tendency to go out of tune). You can hook up a sustain pedal and control the effect with the Waza Craft feature if you really wanted to. This pedal feels great in the hand or under the foot, and makes for creative experimentation far out of the world of the conventional. How could you be disappointed? My Boss VB-2w is one of my favorite pedals ever! It has simple controls and always delivers the sounds I’m looking for. Pros: - It sounds amazing and retains clarity - Cool color - Bright LED - Runs on 9v Cons: - Its a little noisy if you have a Klon style buffer before the VB-2w somewhere in your chain. All in all, it’s the best vibrato you can buy and I highly recommend it!
