i set this up with my Sony A6000 and it powered on at 83% and after 5 minutes dropped to 81%. Will it continue dropping or power continuously?

This should power your A6000 continuously - it's an AC power supply that is shaped like a battery to fit the battery compartment but is NOT a battery. I've never checked the power levels on my A6000 but it has always provided continuous power without problems.

In the video there's a shot of the dummy battery working off a usb power bank, is this actually possible with this item? i can't see the connections.

In connection with the answer to the above question “ You will need an extra item (not included) between power bank and dummy battery - Power Pipe USB to 8.5V converter ” - Has anyone done this and if so can you recommend what I should buy? - 90% of the time I will not need it, but if doing a shoot away from a AC power source then being able to use the USB connection with a large battery would be great.

Will this work with sony a7rii? i had a similar one and it didn't work.
