This book is a great book by (in my humble opinion), one of the greatest puritans of all times, is direct, ground to earth, heavenly and practical at the same time. You can find great encouragement and chastisements for your own life and will strengthen your relationship with God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Se o mundo seguisse os 10 mandamentos custe o que custar, isso aqui seria um lugar menos pior. Inclusive a questão do sábado, negada por todos os cristãos católicos e repetidos pelos protestantes igual papagaio de pirata, inegavelmente está na Bíblia e está bem explicada ali. A questão da guarda correta do sábado torna evidente que a pessoa separa um dia da semana para dedicar a Deus e quando a mesma pessoa diz que dedica todos os dias para negar o sábado com certeza absoluta ela está mentindo, melhor que não dissesse nada. O problema é que quem mais defende o sábado são os adventistas então tipo fica muito difícil defender o sábado paralelamente somente com a Bíblia porque o mundo evangélico já meio que torce o nariz. Lembrando que uma coisa é a guarda do sábado, outra coisa é a reunião, o "gathering" entre os irmãos, que os primeiros cristãos faziam realmente no domingo por causa da ressurreição de Cristo.

A must-read for every Christian... well laid out and clearly legible. I have read many other Thomas Watson books and they are all very engaging and based on the Biblical truths. I have also downloaded the Aneko Press android app for their audiobooks which is great while you cook or clean and cannot always read physically.

Gets in to depth about the Ten Commandments. A must have for your library.
