I picked this test kit because of all the positive reviews concerning the accuracy and ease of use and was not disappointed. My ex wife got pregnant over 12 years ago right around the time we split up and there was always a chance that I was the father and this product answered the burning question that was always in our minds. We live 2 states away from each other but this summer we ended up only 3 hours away from each other so we all met at a park and took the test. The only negative thing I can say about the use of the test is that once you swab your cheek the q tip goes in a paper envelope which quickly absorbs the saliva. If not careful the swabs could possibly cross contaminate if placed in the mailing envelope to where both swabs were pointing in the same direction. We were cognizant of the possible issue and faced the swabs away from each other, but this COULD BE A REAL ISSUE if you were not paying attention, this could result in a possible false positive. Just be careful if you are doing this in a public place together, keeping the samples separated until dry would probably help this situation, we just didn't really have that luxury.

Price was fair, reviews were good. I ordered to see if my son was the father. I mailed in pre-paid envelope (to get there faster, I suggest using next day etc), but was still quick turn around. Once they received my test they emailed me that test had begun and give it 1-3 days (not counting weekend days), two days later i got the results. I highly recommend this company/product. I will definitely use again if need.This test was super simple to understand. No complicated instructions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Wow! This product was quick and easy to use. I received d the package on a Saturday. My husband and his 13 year old son took the swabs on they Sunday and I mailed them back on Monday, July 13, 2020 via USPS Priority. We received an email on July 15, 2020 that My Forever DNA received the swabs and will have the results in 1-3 days. Well, today July 16, 2020 just 1 day later we received the results via email to both my husband and I, that my husband is the biological father of his 13 years old son he had from a prior relationship before we met and were married that has lived with us since he was 4. We needed a test to make sure because the child mother has not been involved in his life and has given my husband and I a hard time. So we needed to know is this all still worth it.I recommend using this service. It is reliable and dependable. Excellent communication! I recommend sending via USPS priority mail. They testing instructions were easy to read and follow. It took less than 5 minutes to complete the swabs and fill out the information and deal in the envelope they had sent us that was already prepaid for regular usps mail.I allowed the swabs to dry in their respective sample envelopes before putting them in the larger envelope to mail. I would not recommend stacking the sample envelopes. I laid them side by side in the larger envelope to avoid cross contamination of the dna swabs as they were wet and showing through the sample package.This was the so simple to use and highly recommend it. After a lot of research on various brands, I ordered a MyForever DNA kit for some extended family members. The packaging was discreet and the directions were easy to read and simple to follow. One thing I noticed that had me a little concerned during the collection process was that after taking the sample and placing the swab into the collection envelope (even after holding it for a bit to dry) and then putting that envelope into the self addressed envelope, the wetness soaked through both, leaving a wet spot through all of them. I worried that it would weaken the envelope and create a tear, but it must not have caused issues with shipping. One precaution I did take was to insert the collection envelopes into the self addressed envelope with the swab tips facing opposite directions. I figured this would help keep the wetness from coming into contact with each other, but it also helped to avoid an extra large wet spot.Once completed, I brought it into the post office and was told that it didn't matter whether I mailed it off with the postage paid first class shipping or upgraded to priority, either method would arrive on the same day. I chose to send it off first class, but later regretted it, wishing I'd have upgraded to priority simply so we would have tracking information to know that it arrived safely. I ended up calling on the day it was scheduled to arrive and Megan was so pleasant! She informed me that she'd just sent me an email letting me know that the samples were received. I checked my email and found that to be the case. It was an unexpected and pleasant surprise.We were told to expect results within 2-3 business days. Since it was received on a Friday, I anticipated that we would hear something on Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week so imagine my shock when I received an email with results on MONDAY afternoon! This was our first experience reading DNA results and I wasn't sure what I was looking at. There's nothing explaining what the results mean or how to read them, but a quick google search showed me what I needed to know and we had our answer! A 47 year mystery was resolved.Thank you so much for offering an affordable option to families searching for answers. And even more for the level of ease and the A+ customer service throughout the process. If we ever need this kind of service again I know right where I'll go. And if not, I'll know just who to recommend to others!

I had to get a sample from Kenya and it was a logistical challenge to say the least. The whole ordeal took over three months! First I had to send the swabs for the child to Kenya and told the mother exactly what to do once she received them. I instructed her to contact me just before taking the swab so I could do it at the same exact time. She followed the instructions and mailed the samples back to me. After a lengthy delay (mind you, this is happening in the midst of the covid-19 crisis) with the postal system, I received the sample in the mail. Both samples were mailed to the lab, no rush. I received a call one week later to verify my e-mail address and had results the next day. The swabs were taken in the month of February and were not tested until May because of what I had to do to make it possible. I made sure to tell them exactly when the swabs were taken. The lab had no difficulty reading the samples I provided. The entire process took a while, mailing packages to and from another country was expensive but it was well worth it!

Although this testing is not valid for LEGAL DOCUMENTS, it provided us with the information we needed. The process was very straightforward. My Forever DNA supplied everything needed, INCLUDING detailed and thorough instructions, giving the participants confidence. The response time in getting results is very good.

Got the test with in 24 hours had a small problem with shipping went with FedEx and they messed everything because it was not sent priority shipping and sent it back to me. So long story short after 6 days of waiting for it to be shipped back to me I went with UPS and it was sent and delivered in 24 hours back to the company and 3 business days later got my results back and very happy with them.
