Quality product Great price
You are not going to find a better one for the price. Works great and fits in spots with comfort. Amazing durability. Used to set my rear end and it will be a tool i keep in my shop forever! I highly recommend this product and I'm not easy to please. Been working on cars for 15 years.

Used for pinion bearing preload
I bought this to set the pinion bearing preload for the rear differential in my truck. It worked great, got the job done.

Excellent Wrench at a good price.
I prefer a Beam Torque Wrench, and the Neiko 1/4 inch drive inch pound wrench is exactly what I needed for some light duty vehicle work that my foot pound beam torque wrench could not do.

Good quality. Great price. Worked as Expected.
Needed this to confirm bearing preload after a differential bearing replacement. Quality was good, but not great. The size of the tool was correct for the 1/4 inch driver. It's an old school deflection style torque wrench.

so good, I bought 2, one for my friend!
I've been through lower ft pound ones that fail on upper end of scale. I've been through 1 that had this range from another respected brand that broke!!. this neiko is the best one I found. only one con, the lock at the end of the handle is easy to release if your hands are big and your too close to the end. otherwise, perfect. click is loud, feels confident and trustworthy.

Not junk - Fantastic Workmanship
I was in need of a torque wrench that would go to at least 150 lbs. I looked at Sears locally but they only had gimmicky electronic ones that were very expensive. After looking through Amazon I found the Neiko 1/2" drive 50-250 lbs wrench. I was very nervous in clicking the buy button as I was scared of getting a piece of Chinese junk. When I got the wrench I was VERY happy when I opened it. This thing is a precision piece of equipment!! It is made in Taiwan (I wish they'd tell you where things were made when shopping on-line). The workmanship is great. I've owned a lot of woodworking machines over the years and the stuff coming from Taiwan has gotten better and better. This is a perfect example of pride in workmanship. The wrench works great, adjusts easily, has a very nice locking mechanism to lock the adjustment so it doesn't change while in use. The thing is very long - 24" which I thought was the same as the short one I saw at Sears (didn't measure it) but that must be a 18" wrench because this thing seems very long. The length helped to make the 150lbs torque on my lug nuts easy. It also has a rubber handle that feels great in my hand. All in all this is THE WRENCH. I'm thinking of getting a smaller one for those under 50 lbs of torque applications and I'm looking no where else but at Neiko. I'll have this wrench the rest of my life and am VERY happy with this purchase. It's the best value out of just about anything I've purchased in the past year. Thanks Neiko, well done!!

Not the most precise...
This will work for simple jobs. Definitely not professional equipment. If you're a fairly savvy shady tree backyard mechanic and you know what you're doing, you can get by with this. I've used it for a few valve cover jobs and even that is approaching quite questionable... but they were my own cars. This would be perfectly serviceable for plenty of other tasks... but for a serious automotive mechanic I would suggest something better, especially if you're working on other peoples vehicles.
