Sports Crossbar for Transport on Step-Through Style Bikes

Have had this several years and find that I never reviewed it. Bottom line, it works great for a ladies bike to transport on certain car carriers or for kids bikes. Easy to install, very sturdy and does the job I bought it for. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

need this when hauling bike woth no cross bar, needed to hold bike down, expandable and works great, this has to be bought separately when buying a bike rack to haul bikes like a step thru

Worked perfectly to put my cruiser bike on the car rack. Without it was a struggle. If you have a beach cruiser bike it’s worth the money. So easy to use too

I recently purchased this Crossbar so I can transport by electric bike using a bike carrier. I've been very pleased with its performance so far. It made transporting both my step-through bike and electric bike a breeze, which is usually a challenge due to their unique frames. Pros: Easy to Install: The crossbar is quick to set up and adjust. It easily attaches to both my step-through and electric bikes, making it versatile for different types of bikes. Secure Fit: Once in place, the crossbar keeps both bikes stable and securely mounted on the rack. There’s no shifting or wobbling, even during long drives on rough roads. Durable Build: The materials feel strong and solid. It holds up well, and I trust it to handle the weight of my electric bike without any issues. Cons: It did scratch the pain off of my bike so I will need to add some foam pad around the hook that attaches to the bike. The crossbar has also started to show signs of rusting but is still useable. Conclusion: This crossbar is an excellent solution for transporting step-through bikes and electric bikes. It’s secure, easy to install, and built to last. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I highly recommend it for anyone who needs a reliable crossbar for bike transport.

Perfect accessory to carry a bike on a bike rack. Was stable and sturdy. Easy to install and easy to remove. No issues with capacity. Carried a 25lb bike with no issues.

Worked perfectly on a 2500 mile winter vacation

I have a hitch type bike rack that is not compatible with ladies/commuter bikes. Tough luck for me I didn't realize this fact before ordering my bike rack as they're mostly commuter bikes without the "traditional" triangular frame with crossbars. In order to make my bike rack useful, I ordered this product with some doubt initially about whether this "bare-bone" product would be heavy duty enough to withstand all the vibration using my bike rack on a sports coupe. Per receiving the product I find it be very well-built and works just as described without all the bells-and-whistles like other products on the market that work the same but look just prettier. Functionality is what I was looking for and I needed these adapters at a good price(I had to buy 4 of them for all the step over frames that I have) so I went ahead and ordered these. I feel that this is a great product and it has all the contributes to make it a great product (functionality, durability, ease-of-use). Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a crossbar adapter but want to stay away from the high price, sugar-coated name brand ones. I didn't find application to be of any difficulties and haven't snapped my finger/hand once. Pay attention when using it you won't have to worry about the tension bar design hurting you at all.

Esta barra es ideal para bicicletas que no tienen el tubo superior del cuadro de la bicicleta completamente horizontal y no se puede ajustar al portabicicletas común del auto.
