Monster Power - Gold 650 USB+, 6 AC Outlets, 2 USB 3.4AMP outlets, 1080 Joules, and FireProof MOV

I live in a place where power outages are common, so I decided to get this product to protect my super expensive rice cooker. Unfortunately, the back had some kind of protrusion, which I think is supposed to fit in the bottom electrical outlet of the wall? It would not fit in mine because the bottom outlet was too low, so I couldn’t use it at all! My husband used a knife to remove the protrusion, so now the surge protector is functional. Overall, the product performs well. I just wish it didn’t come with that stick in the back.

Living in Hawaii, means power spikes daily. This is the only way to protect appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, t.v.s, computers... I wish I could get this with only one or two plugs and perhaps something a little thinner with the same level of protection. These would be so useful behind appliances. Right now I'm just glad I have these (I've gone through 3 refrigerators in the last 3 years...and my t.v. no longer goes on by itself).

I purchased several of these after a lighting storm sent a surge which took out 4 TVs. After plugging these in they worked fine until another lighting storm. Every item plugged into these surge protectors failed. So I submitted a claim to Monster Power only to be told that these are actually not Monster surge protectors despite the name, it was sold by a third party on Amazon. Monster Power does not cover the warranty.

I have placed these units throughout the house as they provide excellent surge protection and also add USB connections for the various devices I employ throughout.

Easy to install then forget about doing any more it works behind the scene to monitor safe electricity spikes the device does the job it was made to do.

I live in Florida - we get a lot of lightning - along with its power spikes - I like that this plugs in the wall and I can just plug my components into it - instead of dealing with a long strip sitting on my desk or laying on the floor.

This has been a great wall plug in. I use it on both sides on my bed behind the nightstands to protect my wife and I's electronics. We have spontaneous outages that flicker the power on and off immediately and so far none of our electronics have been fried.
