Works very well, nothing not to like. I had to tighten the tilt adjustment screw a couple times until I got it where it stayed put, but after that it's been great! I have one of these in each of my vehicles, and I'm quite happy. Afls far as the people who say the mounting tape doesn't hold, let me clarify something for everyone... that's the same tape that holds the emblems on your car, as well as some other things depending on make and model. I promise you, if you clean the windshield with alcohol and apply it at a reasonable temperature, it won't come off on its own. I've been using 3M VHB tape for this kind of thing for YEARS and I would think with my experience I would have noticed a problem by now. If you have something heavier to install and your still worried, Gorilla glue makes a clear double sided tape that's kinda thick and very, very strong. I noticed my dashcam came with that stuff, and when I had to replace it after getting a new windshield, I used it again. I assure you, the clear gorilla stuff is even more wicked to remove.

Mostly good for my R7. I initially liked that it could easily unclip from the base for grab and go purposes. In use though, it rattled a lot because of that and drove me nuts. I ended up super gluing the clip to the base so it can't be removed that way now, but it's way more stable with no rattle, much better. It can still be removed by just pulling the mount out of the detector of course. Overall, a good deal and happy with the functionality after a slight modification 🤝

Yes, it holds well to the windshield. The part that goes into the radar detector and into the windshield part loosen up and the detector loosens up and the washer that comes with it is flat. You need to change it out to a locking washer. It held better but still the detector moved. I ended up using gorilla glue to hold the two pieces together since the detector will always be at that certain angle and have not had an issue since.

Works well. 3m tape. good price. Does not get in the way of radar detector face.

Over all I am happy with the product especially when you consider the price on an alternative mount. It has a lot going for it as the mount is removable but the pad it attaches to is not without damaging the mounting tape but it can be replaced the tape that is.The adjustments on the bracket make it easy to get your detector level and not pointing up at the sky looking for satellites or pointing down at the hood.The only minor issue as some others have mentioned the mount pivot points can start to slip a bit with use. I just took mine apart and with some 150 grit sand paper roughed up the plastic inside the joints so the plastic was not so slick. Since doing this the detector has not budged at all. Also a plus it does not use a suction cup so it stays on the windshield. More than once the suction cup mount had let loose and my radar detector was laying on the floor. This mount is a big improvement over it.

I was always hesitant to use one of the double-sided adhesive style mounts for my R1, but this one is amazing! I have the mount flipped around and attached to the top of my windshield, so the RD sits right above my rear view mirror. It's great and I've had zero issues with the sticky pad, and I don't have tint or an eyebrow section on my windshield.Durability-wise, there's zero issues! Every few weeks I'll have to re-tighten the screw, but for the smaller RD's like mine without arrows, it's more than great.Installation was a breeze and the mount fits my R1 without any issues.

Works fine and 3m tape is stickey, but the radar will slowly moves down and sag, even if I tighten it up alot. It needs gear teeth or something to keep it locked in.

Nice bracket, but unfortunately fell off leaving part of 3m tape on windshield tint, had to carefully remove,not to damage $300 nano uv tint on my new vehicle. I'm past return window but item has year warranty. Company has graciously refunded me, great service!!

Really good

Works well with Uniden R7. Loses 1 star because it’s a bit loose, so it rattles when you hit bumps/cracks in the pavement. I need to try adding some tape or something to tighten it up.It works well for tucking it up at the top of the windshield beside the mirror. Overall pretty happy with it.

Misleading pictures, shows a nice sleek look, but then you get your package and it has a 2" bolt hanging out, so uglyFirst two pics is what you get, third one is how its supposed to look with the tightening screw

Way better than the suction cup. Just expensive

I got mine today… except I received only the metal plate that goes into radar detector - the rest, which is the most of it was missing.
