I purchased this dog lick mat with a tray and have been really impressed so far. I was worried that my dog, who tends to flip his food container over, would do the same thing with this. Thankfully, that's not the case. He keeps this tray facing up and thoroughly enjoys eating from the lick mat. Initially, I had bought a different brand of lick mat, but I returned it immediately because it wouldn't stick to anything. This one, however, is the perfect solution to my problem and helps keep the mess contained in one place. The suction works great, and I don't have to worry about it sliding around. One feature I do wish it had is a brush or tool to help spread the food on the mat. I don't know if the company sells that separately, but I would have gladly paid a little extra to have it included in the package. Another minor issue is that food gets stuck in the little triangular corners, requiring some cleaning effort. It's not a deal-breaker, but it does take a bit of elbow grease to remove all the residue. Despite this minor inconvenience, I'm pleased with this purchase.

Best lick mat, well made. I love that the mat comes in a holder to keep the mat from moving around and keeping your floors clean. It occupies my pet when she needs something to keep her busy. It looks great and fits most anywhere. The mat is easily removed from the tray for cleaning.

Sturdy well built easy to use and clean the pads in the feet keep it from slipping while in use.My Belgium Shepherd has figured out how to get the lick pad out when used for licking stimulation of frozen treat not an easy feat.

Works great, one for dog treats and the other in the dirty dishes and just swap them around every once in a while. Finger tab is a joke, barely sticks out farther than the rest and gets slimy dog slobber and such anyways. Stays put inside the tray quite well even when storing the second one under the one is use inside the tray. Moves around on the non carpet floor easily but it is quite light weight so I have mine against the wall helps a a lot. Overall a good product though and easy to clean in dishwasher vs hand clean or suction cup style that just tip over and roll around making a mess. Peanut butter and wet food gets stuck in the corners of the ridges so maybe a golf ball dimply stile would be better but still so easy to pop in the dishwasher and I got the two pack so no down time between snacks and no rush to clean the dirty one.

This is by far the best lick mat I have ever had for my dogs. For reference I have two cavapoos around 20 lbs. I give them a lick mat every morning while I eat breakfast so they stay occupied and I can drink my coffee in peace! I put dog peanut butter on them and they stay entertained for a while! Previous bad lick mats: For all other brands of lick mats, the dogs end up eating off part of the mat after some time. First it is little bits eaten, and recently one of my dogs ate a chunk out of the mat. So I went searching for a new lick mat. This item: It is sturdy and so my dogs don't bite off parts of the mat. Also, there is extra protection from this happening because the mat sits inside a holder. It is worth the extra price to have this more durable version & to have the holder. These are also super easy to clean off. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this item. I actually need to buy two more for when we travel. I don't often review items unless I love them so this definitely earned a review. Don't hesitate - BUY NOW. I did not get these free as part of a promotion, this review is authentic!!!

This has been the perfect solution to our messy eater who’s on mainly wet/raw food! I read recently that maze/puzzle feeder bowls can be uncomfortable for dogs’ snouts and wanted a flat platter-like feeder (without having major clean up after every meal). I ordered the pack with two mats which has been great as I only have to wash them once per day. LOVE the grippy base that keeps it from sliding all over the floor! My two “cons”: 1) They’re a bit small (my bad for not reading the dimensions beforehand). My 75 lb dog eats 1.5 cups of food per meal, and there’s only so much room to spread it out so it doesn’t slow him down much. I’d say his eating time has actually been cut in half with this compared to his Outward Hound slow feeder bowls. In the second pic you can see a comparison in size to your average dog bowl. 2) I’ve found the purple mat is more easily stained, and seems more soft and pliable. So if you’ve got a dog who might be rough on the mats or eats food with stain-prone foods, definitely opt for the green mat! They’ve been super easy to clean, I soak them with dish soap after the meals then use my sink hose to “power wash” then clean. I just wipe the grey holder clean when needed!

If your dog isn't a determined chewer of lick mats, this is probably fine, It contains the mess well and is a good design for lick-enrichment- However, my pit-mix picked it right out of the dish the first night and ripped it in half- I settled on a lick mat built in to the container, he still tries to chew that one but since the chewing on the hard plastic case is loud, we've so far been able to get it away before any real damage is done. I would have spent less on a non-contained lick mat rather than buy this "neater pets" model. Though, Again, this would be perfect for my toy poodle, so next time she needs a new lick mat, I'll just get a replacement mat for this.

Cleans up easily. Freezes quickly. Excellent for use during my dogs post-op laser therapy sessions. He was large breed (110lbs) and took him almost 30min to get through it, from frozen, and only 75% filled. I mixed pumpkin and wet food. Supervision recommended if your dog is intense eater - my guy would try to nibble it off when tired of licking.

My 3-month-old kitten Jack is a ravenous eater; you’d think I never fed him! He was always gulping down his food incredibly quickly, then eating my two-year-old cat Maya’s food as well. I tried other lick mats that didn’t help. This one actually works! Jack now finishes after Maya is done hers, despite his best efforts, and Maya can now finish her meal in peace. Added bonus is the tray keeps all the food in there and not on my floor, plus having two mats means I can soak one while using the other. Mealtimes are now peaceful in my house. Total game changer. Highly recommend.

Puppy likes to eat from this more than a plain bowl. He isn't food motivated so it seems the texture makes it more enjoyable to eat from. Glad we got it.

Perfect for my Dalmatian puppy who eats extremely fast! This slows her down with the design but also spreads the food out with it being a shallow and long bowl/mat. She also had long ears so always get in her food when she eats but this is perfectly shallow !! No more wet and dirty ears.

Works great unless your dog sees the holder as a toy and wants to chew or play with it instead 😂
