Durable and heavy. I got this for a Kamek costume for halloween and it has lasted for six months of my kids playing with it as a dress up toy. I think the jewel at the end is glass so if you are looking for something light to carry around this is not the accessory for you.

Very happy with the quality of this piece. This is not a long staff but solid metal. The gem is made of durable solid glass. The tip came of the bottom after much play use with kids but it's an easy glue. Highly recommend.
