I like to cut my 1 mg melatonin pills into fractions with a knife. Has anyone tried to cut these?

I didn't do this often in the past and I just tried. You can do this but it may be a little bit hard.

If I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom would I be able to go back to sleep with this melatonin?

You should be able to fall back asleep. But you might be better off taking a slow release/time released version of melatonin. That will slowly dissolve in your body all night while you’re sleeping, insuring you can definitely fall back asleep if you wake up to use the bathroom. 🤷🏻♀️ Worth a shot! Good luck.
