In 15 to 20 seconds in the microwave they are on their way to alleviate the scratchy feeling in my eyes. It helps my eyes secrete the oils my eyes are screaming for.

Holds its Heat Better than Regular Compresses.
This compress needs to be heated in a microwave, on a paper towel. I 've found that 18 seconds on high is just about right, the 20 secs. they recommend is a little too hot for me. The adjustable strap its good, and it's a good idea to lie down when you use it, naturally. Wish it could be totally washed in water, but it cannot.....just spot cleaning. I have several eye doctors; one says to use it once a week, the other says every day, for 10 minutes. Compromise now, every 3 or 4 days. No miracles, but good way to rest the eyes.

Unlike others I have had is made of cloth so don’t have to worry about it melting in the microwave

Not effective
Great idea but the mask does not stay heated long because it's so small (no mass, no heat retention). Feels wonderful and fits well but without heat, it doesn't meet my needs.

Excellent eye mask
I’ve been using this mask for many years and have tried several others even more expensive, and nothing beats Avenova. As far as not being able to wash it, just leave it in the bag and it stays clean. I sponge clean it and when that doesn’t work, I purchase a new one. Truly this is the best out there!!!

The Moist Heating Eye Compress Mask is easy to use and works well.
I have purchased this eye compress mask multiple times from this vendor and I have always been satisfied. Before I go to bed each night I use my headed mask to help open my tear ducts before cleaning my eyelids. This helps to reduce dry eye symptoms for me.

Works, but it's not washable
This product is advertised as washable, but instructions say: Do not immerse. Not that sanitary.
