Where is this going to suck? I've had this stuff for over a month ...
Everyone in the Pacific Northwest has a vitamin D deficiency!! In an effort to elevate my mood and help my liver recover from a particularly toxic couple of months I dove into researching Vitamin D and shortly realized that I would need to commit about the same amount of tie I would to a part time job. This is my health, my mood, my BRAIN - so I did. Any research and education on the topic is well earned and well used. I was prepared to shell out the bucks for a high quality supplement, again - this is MY BRAIN - and found this store. The selection they have is absolutely dumbfounding but the prices are so low I thought it was a misprint. It's pure, it's in appropriate packaging and has been tested by outside laboratories. I keep waiting for the other show to drop. Where is this going to suck? I've had this stuff for over a month now and I'm still incredibly happy with it. So, so happy this can be a resource for me.

D3 can be taken weekly and be done with it
Instead of fiddling with the micro scale game to get 'daily' doses when D3 is one of the fat-based vitamins that your body can easily store. i've calculated a weekly dose and deal with it on the weekend. Next advantage, if one of the family shows signs of having 'caught' something respiratory, it's a similar step to do the 'D-Hammer size dose 50,000IUs that I read about in an NIH article to reduce colds/flu to a day of recovering and be bright and perky next morning.. So easy, using the info right on the package on fractions of teaspoon for a dose in IUs... Just do the math. Pretty decent 'food' stuff to fill in the micro-size amounts of D3 so that dosing is a easily measurable task

perfect--and incredibly affordable!
I bought the 250 g (8.82 oz) size and a "smart weigh GEM20 digital jewelry scale" to weigh out the tiny amount needed for a dose. The package gives a serving size of 46 milligrams (easy to weigh on my newly calibrated scale). 46 mg equals 5000 IU, which is more than my doctor recommended, so I cut it in half to 23 mg per serving, and have it once a day. The servings per 250 g? For 5000 IU, that would be 5434 servings. Double that for 2500 IU. At $24, this comes out to approximately 2/10s of a penny per serving. :-) If it wouldn't eventually degrade, I wouldn't have to buy more for nearly 15 years, given that both I and my daughter are taking it. I am sharing it with friends, so that it all gets used. :-) Beyond the price, which I really, really appreciate, I like this because it doesn't have "fillers." My daughter is always manifesting new food allergies and intolerances, the latest of which is to stearic acid and magnesium stearate. When you realize what a tiny amount of powder constitutes 2500 IU, you will see that the capsules are mostly filler. Now my daughter can safely take Vitamin D3 again. The package does warn "Potentially toxic in higher quantities." If you do not have a scale capable of accurately measuring .001 g, you will need to buy one in order to safely use this product. In addition, it is important to balance vitamin D with Vitamin A: food sources are best for A, so some liver or salmon once or twice a week.

CONTAINS SUCROSE (SUGAR) AND MALTODEXTRIN + 5,000 servings???? NO RETURNS
I can't believe this item is even listed for sale. I can see how dosage could be quite dangerous unless you have special instruments to measure 50mg (like lab level equipment). There is a much bigger problem than the sugar and Maltodextrin content. 1. I have only bought one other Bulk Supplements product before (Glycine) and didn't have a problem with it (I am questioning it now) When I bought the Glycine I checked the photos of the package to make sure it didn't have any ingredients I didn't want. I didn't see any, ordered it, and when it arrived say that under other ingredients it said :NONE. Great, that's what I wanted. 2. I then wanted a powered Vitamin D3 to add to my smoothies. So I found that Bulk Supplements sold that, I checked the photos of the packaging. Didn't see any ingredients I didn't want. Ordered it. When it arrived I checked the package and saw a sticker on the package that said it had Sugar and Maltodextrin. I was annoyed, but I didn't want it so I started the return process. THERE ARE NO RETURNS FOR THIS ITEM. I called Amazon and explained what was up, and without hesitation the gave me a full refund and didn't want the item returned. I'm guess this an item that gets returned a lot. 3. I looked at the package again and some other things caught my eye. It said it has 5,000 servings? It says take 50 milligrams. The package says it contains 250 grams. 250 grams is a quarter of a million milligrams. So yes, there are 5,000 servings. But how many IU??? The package doesn't say. But on the Amazon description it says 5000 IU - so I'm assuming that is per 50 mg dose. Because if it per bag, and you want to take 2,000 IU a day, a bag would last you 2.5 days. Do you know how big 50mg is? it is the size of a large grain of sand. I have a really good kitchen that actually weights very small increments and I can't even measure that small. 50mg is .05 of a gram. Unless you are a chemist good luck trying to measure 25mg if you only want to take 2,500 IU a day. From what I'm reading 2,000 IU is a good amount. 10,000 is toxic. Lets say you don't do all the math and figure, and say, well I'll take a half teaspoon, that's not much. Well 1/2 a teaspoon is 2 grams and if 50mg is 5,000 IU, than 2 grams of this stuff is 1,000,00 IU !!!!!!!! per dose! Something is seriously wrong here. I'm am now questioning if I want to continue to use the Glycine I already have. I definitely won't be buying any more products from this company.

I don't believe bulksups is to blame
Arrived over a week late. I don't believe it was on bulksups. Package showed arriving on time. When it didn't show up, I looked and it showed package hadn't even been shipped. Amazon told me I could cancel order sense it hadn't been shipped. Then wouldn't allow me to cancel all while not being shipped for 6 days. Amazon CS is rediculous. Wasted my time with no resolve. Amazon made it seem like bulksups didn't ship it. I've never had a problem with them in the past. Amazon CS lied to me multiple times. I don't even want the product anymore because I ordered something else from bulksups and got it next day. I really do like and use multiple supplements from bulksups. I am hoping Amazon is forced into dealing with me through this. CS is a frustrating joke

Well, Its works. Just need to work on dosage. I clearly went Overboard.
Went from 26 on my blood test to 50 to now 150, over the course of 9 months while adjusting the dosage up and up and up. Yup, it works. Now I am technically on the "Toxic" / overdose side of the scale but don't have any issues. I highly recommend This product. Just make sure to also get a good cheap scale and measure out what the daily dose is and multiply it as needed. and of course, get blood work done every 4 months or so to see where you are. Technically speaking, I believe this is something you could theoretically calculate before hand and fix your deficiency with a single dose. But experimenting with low dosages lets you find what exactly is it that you need the daily dose to be for your given life style. I am Happy. and my neck no longer hurts (it stop hurting within like 2 months of taking this). and yes, I am taking a break from this product for a bit until my levels come below 100. Then I will start up again. I was doing something like 12-16 x the amount found in AG1's daily D3 drop dose the last 3 or 4 months. I would forget to take it some days though.

Very happy with this product
I have always preferred non oily Vitamin D. I was taking a very expensive brand that helps me with eczema. When I realized my horses skin issues were probably a form of eczema caused by an allergy to the saliva in bug bites I researched dosage and put him on it to. My horse is very large and could use 4 times the my dose. I bought this product for him a year ago and when I ran out of the other I switched to it as well. My eczema has remained in remission during it's use which tells me the product is as advertised. My horses skin issues cleared up last summer and remain stable.(pun haha). I read a review that said 46 mg's was the wrong dosage. WRONG, it's exactly right. I read one review that says it's not pure, well Shame on Bulk Supplements for that because the package say's pure and yet it does contain fillers though any non oily capsule will contain fillers as well. Then I read a review that complains that it is to hard to measure, that is true except I keep a scientific scale around so my wife can measure components for cosmetic she compounds so I could weigh it accurately. I use a scientific spoon set I bought here on Amazon to dip it out of the package https://www.amazon.com/Scientific-Labwares-Stainless-Laboratory-Measuring/dp/B0881YF2KL/ref=sr_1_9?dchild=1&keywords=small+chemistry+spoon&qid=1621899100&sr=8-9 and after about 100 times I determined that one level spoonful was 50 mg so it's easy to measure and if it weren't for the fillers bulking it up a little the size of a dose would be so small it would be hard to measure. On a side note I am in my 60's and have had a winter cold every year all my life, 2020/2021 winter was the first time ever that I took (this) Vitamin D all year and I had no cold. BAM 5 Stars

great customer service and so far great products
I usually give 5 across the board for BulkSupps, great customer service and so far great products. My only complaint about this one is all the confusion and difficulty in measuring. Whether or not there is a filler is still in question and it just would have been nice to know up front that I needed a MILLIgram scale to measure this. One of the things I really like about this company is every other product I've ordered they've given an easy conversion for measurement with simple teaspoons rather than having to lug out the scale every morning. I've gotten myself into a little trouble trying to measure sensitive supps on the scale at 0400, move a decimal point one digit and I was down for 2 days and too afraid to admit it to go to the ER... spoons are good.

No scoop!
It doesn't have a scoop to measure, this is an ultra small dose so lver or underdosing is extremely easy and dangerous! I do not recommend
