Genmaicha Green Tea with Matcha 60 Tea Bags

This was a tasty and refreshing tea. I'd originally tried brown rice tea in a Japanese restaurant and enjoyed it so much I wanted some for home. I wasn't sure initially about the match but actually it's not overpowering, and the brown rice flavour really comes through. Refreshing and tasty hot or cold, so good for the hot weather we're having at the moment. Lots of tea bags in the packet so it will keep me going for a while, but I will definitely get more when I've used them all up.

Tastes great, smells great and I am hoping there is some benefits drinking this. As long as it does not aggravate my IBS I will buy again.

Nice flavour, I like genmai tea but it's not as nice with the Matcha included.

I discovered Japanese roasted green tea on a recent holiday to Japan. Unlike normal green tea which is generally tasteless, roasted green tea has an amazing nutty taste. So tasty and this version didn't disappoint! Yummy!

I have drunk gemaicha tea most of my life and it gets me going in the morning plus the tea is amazing to drink with a money taste and it can be used twice!

Very good tea. It has a nice subtle flavor that reminds me of roasted grain. The brewing instructions state to steep the bag in 200 ml of hot water for 30 seconds. Doing so gives you a pale yellow tea with nice flavor. I have seen online instructions to steep the bag for 60 to 90 seconds. I have not tried that yet since the 30 seconds gives a nice result.

Really enjoy this one. The roasted rice flavor comes through nicely without being too grassy, which is exactly what I want from a genmaicha. I'm not really a matcha person so this hits the right spot for a daily green tea that's mellow and easy to drink. Low caffeine is a bonus too. 60 bags is a good amount and the individual bags are convenient. Nothing complicated, just a reliable Japanese tea I keep coming back to.

This is good tea. It has turned into my morning daily instead of coffee. I usually make two cups at the same time because one is never enough! I actually brew past the 30-second time, sometimes up to 2 minutes, and i squeeze the bag at the end so more green goodness goes into the tea. It's still delicious and not bitter. The toasted brown rice flavor comes through and adds a wonderful touch.

This is my favorite green tea. Been getting this same one for years. I’m a bit lazy so I love the fact that this comes in a pouch/teabag already and I don’t have to measure it out, steep, and toss - the tea bag makes it quick and simple. And it’s only a 30 second steep time which is a time saver. The flavor is SO authentic and amazing.

Exactly like the tea you get at Japanese restaurants. Super quality and great price.
