Helped clear the Check Engine Light with Code P0171
I own a 2003 Toyota Camry LE, and when the check engine light came on with the code P0171, I initially thought the issue wasnโt related to the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. A couple of years ago, I had purchased a cheap, likely counterfeit DENSO MAF sensor from eBay, but after a detailed diagnosis at the dealership, it was confirmed that the sensor was faulty. Since DENSO is the OEM for Toyota parts, I realized that the eBay sensor wasnโt genuine, which explained the issue. I was hesitant to buy another non-OEM one, fearing it might also be a fake, but I decided to give this sensor a try after reading some positive reviews. Installed it in Nov 2024. The installation was simple since I had done it before, and I could immediately tell the difference. The car no longer struggled during acceleration, ~3 months and ~1000 miles later, the check engine light remains off. It even passed the emissions test last week! This sensor works flawlessly and is a much more affordable option compared to the expensive OEM parts. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and reliable replacement for a faulty MAF sensor!"

Worked good in a 2005 Scion XB
Purchased, then Amazon's description said not for a 2005 Scion XB, they're wrong, it fits perfectly. Installed in five mins, no more low rpm chugging and hesitation which I intially thought was clogged fuel injectors. Also, the three idiot lights on the dashboard disappeared and have not come back on. If you're a first gen Xb owner you know what these are.

Great
Spectacular. I changed it and my 4runner looked like another vehicle. The failures are over and it became economical!

Sensor seems good, but one minor problem....
Installed in a 1999 3rd Gen V6 4Runner. The New sensor seems to be working fine, but it did not correct my rough running engine problem as I had hoped. One problem with this product is that the O-ring is slightly too large, and the sensor would not fit into my car with this O-ring despite adding lube and lots of force. I had to use the old O-ring from the removed sensor to complete the install.

Did not work
Absolutely did not work for my 2010 Toyota Tacoma. Installed it and the truck struggled to start up. Took it out and installed the old one again, and it started up wonderfully. Although, the old sensor is going out, it still works much better than this oneโฆ apparently tacomas are notorious for not working with aftermarket MAF sensors so I will purchase a $150 genuine sensor from Toyota and test that out!

An affordable alternative to OEM prices
Purchased this due to a common MAF sensor code on the dash. Factory fit and easy to install on the Toyota FJ. The code didn't clear after the replacement, to be honest, but the code didn't clear when the mechanic replaced this one with an expensive OEM MAF sensor either, the issue was further down the line in my case, but I was very pleased by the quality and materials compared to OEM.
