Q: Where is this irons made

It is Chinese. I had to return the first one because it died right away, the same happened with the second one, dies 1 day after the 30-day warranty… Complete rubbish.

Q: Is this iron good for using iron-on vinyl for crafting?

I'm not sure as I do not use crafting vinyl. It has plenty of heat on high at least more than any iron I've owned. I would put a cloth between the iron and anything with plastic when I used it. It is like any other iron but better. The steamer is great.

Q: How long does this iron take to cool down once you shut it off? rowenta can take up to 1 hour which is too long for me. tia.

To fully cool down I would say about 30 min max.
