Gerda Muller Seasons Gift Collection: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter

We requests this collection as a gift from grandparents since it was expensive and they always ask us what to buy for their then 29mo old granddaughter so we sent them this link with these books. So glad we did. It took time to be delivered in Mumbai but it was worth the wait :) our daughter loves these books till today that she is 3 years old and 2mo :) she loves going through the pages and looking at every little detail. She loves asking us to read her the stories. The books are amazing and unique in my opinion because they dont have any text just very beautiful images. Can't recommend enough!

We are very happy with this set; our 9 months old daughter likes to look at those illustrations! I read some recommendations about winter book and at the end bought this gift collection. It is cheaper as a set and some books were not even available at that time. The set comes in a hard covered box and there is 4 books in it: winter, spring, summer, autumn. It looks very stylish. The pages are very thick so it is hard to destroy, even by mouthing babies! There is no text in the books, but just the beautiful illustrations. Therefore I can explain the pictures in any language we speak. Only the relevant season book stays in our small library. I like to talk about christmas tree or the snowy day just before our baby see the real versions in daily life. I believe that there should be no age limit for this book because it is up to you, how you communicate the book with the baby/child. With a child, you can leave the lead to the child so he/she tells what is seen on the pages and show their imagination. I would definitely recommend this set! I bought it as a gift for me and my baby and very happy with this purchase.

Beautiful collection. Has been my daughter's favorite books 6 months till 2 years old now. We love how they are open ended so you can change stories as they grow and wonderful for them to look at independently. Be aware that the box set is smaller pictures than buying them individually which makes a big difference. I wasn't aware of this and had already had the Spring one. Great for bilingual reading as well!

Le illustrazioni sono meravigliose e dettagliate: il fatto che non vi sia testo dà al bambino la possibilità di inventare una storia o semplicemente descrivere ciò che vede e le emozioni che prova. Ottimi libri per celebrare il susseguirsi delle stagioni stimolando la fantasia e trovare spunti per attività da svolgere con i nostri figli in ogni periodo dell'anno. A mi bebé de 18 meses le encantan! Son preciosos, ilustraciones muy bonitas, sin letra así que ypuedes hacer muchas historias diferentes para que aprendan vocabulario y empiecen a desarrollar imaginación.

Très chouette, j’adore ce genre de bouquins (exemple le livre des 4 saisons) que l’enfant peut manipuler seul avant de savoir lire. Ils peuvent facilement porter le livre assez petit, les pages sont cartonnées, il n’y a pas de textes, l’enfant se raconte ce qu’il veut, ce qui permet de développer son vocabulaire et sa narration. Les illustrations sont très belles, très fines.
