Love this book
Great book, wonderful read. Sad when I finished and there was no more to read.

My favorite Neil Gaiman book
Gaiman’s idea for this story is wholly original and brilliantly executed. I don’t want to wreck the surprise so just read other’s synopses if you like. The book is ten times better than the tv series based on it. Just read it. Gaiman is one of the most imaginative writers working today. Enjoy!

Thinky
It's a real heady work. Philosophical and metaphorical and stuff.A great printing. Bound well, and the paper is really satisfying to the touch. Just rough enough to turn easily. I dunno how to review a book. Buy it if you like books.

Good read
This is a fantastic book. I would highly recommend it. I am not going to say too much because I don’t wanna give it away, but I would highly recommend reading this book. It came really quickly.

Great book
I hadn’t read this in about 10 years and remembered really liking it, so I ordered it to revisit the book. It is a GREAT read, very engaging. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of what looks like a problem in the printing process on page 143 (shown in picture).

Legends Of Lore
Often when a book I am reading is coming to an end, I begin to feel down, knowing that the characters I've been exploring will soon part. The main character in Neil Gaiman's "American Gods" also had this effect on me, but at the same time, I was glad to see his story end. The characters name is "Shadow" and his adventure will take him throughout the U.S.A., with grifters, drunks, police men, hitch-hikers, and gods. He will converse with the dead, gamble against deities, drive with immortals, and eat some decent meals along the way. His path is one that you will be unable to guess where it is heading next, and that perhaps is Gaimans greatest strength as a writer; he entices you with imagination and leads you through a maze, and you cannot help but follow."American Gods" explores the Lore of civilizations all over the world, and how they came to the shores of America, and once here, what happened to them. It is a fantastic read, I loved it.

Riveting
American Gods is an exquisite take on religion without being religious. It plays the old gods against the "new gods" pointing out humanity's transition of beliefs in a riveting way. The characters are well thought out and described beautifully. If you watched the television series and picked up the book because of how the series ended, there are some major discrepancies, but do not let them stop you from reading the book in its entirety, as you will want to see how it ends.
