So essentially this is a code reader similar to a higher cost Actron, but with a better organized screen and simpler format. It does live feed and scans, and pulls codes with no issues. My boyfriend is a mechanic and has found himself working on a lot of used cars at the dealership. This works perfectly as an alternative to a few thousand dollar Snap-on if youre looking to pull codes and see live feed but don't need to manipulate inputs. It doesn't reset oil lights and you can't use it to change data (i.e. throttle, fuel trim etc) but if you need a decent code reader and want to be able to see data its a great option for half the price of some name-brand code readers that do the same thing.

I bought this one because it got good reviews and it will also read ABS and SRT airbag equipment. I had an issue with my passenger side airbag and the code reader told me exactly what was wrong. It also let me know that there were no impending codes anywhere else so I'm good to smog in September. With newer cars being so complicated these days and the price of repairs being so expensive I believe this will come in very handy for my own repairs I'm happy with my purchase and I am a satisfied customer.

The unit worked well. I was able to update software online easily. I bought it to identify and fix an airbag fault on a 2012 Tahoe. It located the fault, enabling a simple fix to resolve problem. I docked it a star because the menus are a little clunky and I had to systematically click through everything to find the fault on a Tahoe. Good value for money overall.

Can’t use with my phone number , unable to port numbers from Spectrum/Time Warner to this product. Since we have had our number for 27 years we didn’t want to change it. It was to late to return item when we found out. We had to wait until a we could get a Tech person to help us with it. Useless to most major phones

This is a great scan tool for the money. I lost many of my tools in a forest fire and this is my first replacement scan tool, it does the job. ABS, SRS code retrieval...not much in the way of diagnostics for those two, but the powertrain portion works great and the live data is quickly updated. I find the graphing usable but not very customizable . (O2 sensor graphing is good enough to make a diagnosis) All that said, this is not a Modus, it's a $150 generic scan tool with some cool features and quick processing for the price point. I'm super happy with this purchase.

This scanner functions as intended and to be fair there are some useful features like 02 sensor live chart. The display isn’t very large though and leaves something to be desired. There are some things this tool cannot do, which is to be expected for the price. The tool just doesn’t quite hit the mark for me. I will resort to borrowing higher end tools from the shop for more in depth troubleshooting and diagnostics. This should work fine for most home DIY mechs looking to pull codes and test functions/readouts for basic troubleshooting

Updates fail to work. The program cannot find the MicroSD card but the reader is still usable regardless of that.

Appareil utilisé pour VW Cox 2012. Lecture détaillée du défaut. Défaut Voyant moteur supprimé. Utilisation intuitive. Procédure de maj de la carte mémoire sur internet perfectible. Bien retirer la micro carte sur le cr123 par pression pour la mettre dans l'adaptateur USB . Attention pas de détrompeur. Ne pas forcer. Face microcarte avec inscriptions vers le haut. Brancher le tout sur l'USB ordinateur pour télécharger les données sur logiciel launch.(un peu de chinois dans la procédure...mais fonctionne)

Sono veramente soddisfatto di questo prodotto. Tantissime funzioni e diagnosi possibili, cancellazione degli errori e molto altro... Tutto questo in italiano e la lingua si cambia veramente con facilità. Prodotto superconsigliato.
