Definng Moments Ultimate Warrior Figure

Some are commenting to the effect that this should not be considered a "defining moment." I say, don't get hung up on the name—it's about the presentation. Yes, the Ultimate Maniacs were short-lived, but using the "defining moments" series for this figure allowed Mattel to have a higher production budget; notice, for example, this is the first Ultimate Warrior figure with the tassled wristbands. Contrast this with the Summerslam 1992 Ultimate Warrior figure, which was released as a regular "Elite" and Mattel by their own admission ran out of money, forcing them to reduce the wristband design to a solid yellow (with no representation of the tassles). The details are great. Warrior's boots have the "Ultimate Maniacs" logo with Savage's glasses over Warrior's logo. The hair sculpt perfectly reflects Warrior's 1992 stint. The packaging elaborates on his outfit's "smashing through a brick wall" design. Even the skin tone is improved (more tan) compared to previous Elite Warrior figures. Small gripes: I say the skin tone could still be more tan, and I wish the hands were either in a fist position or with fingers extended (like when he'd signal for the gorilla press—see the Kerry Von Erich Elite figure's right hand for an example). The skin tone also appears to have been painted over whatever color the body was molded in, and there is some smudging. I'd rate this figure between a 4 and a 5, and I am rounding up to a 5.

I feel this is a great figure I just picked it up at my local Toys R. Us cause it was 20$ its not the best figure very colorful and looks better in person I wasn't going to get it at first but I have Savage so why not get this to match.

I love Warrior. His handwriting is actually tattooed on my wrist "Always Believe". This figure is a must have for nostalgia. RIP Warrior man. FYI - Warrior and Randy Savage were basically best friends in real life while in WW"F"

This figure is great! Those big babies complaining that this should be a regular elite should just get over it. It's not. Move on, snowflakes.

Great value for an awesome figure !

Decent figure but the price is so high. This is a DM figure. This is simply Mattel taking the DM line and killing it by taking advantage of their loyal fans. Disgusting that they made this a DM instead of a regular elite. The figure is well painted but lacks cloth accessories to justify the price. It has these awful plastic wrist bands that just looks bad. This is not really a new figure, just a repaint of an existing one. I cannot recommend. Not a good overall figure and the suggested price is obscene.

Auch wenn es den UW in diversen Ausführungen gibt, diese hier als Teil der "Ultimate Maniacs" ist sicher einen Kauf wert. Schön gestaltet in der Defining-Reihe, mit der Macho-Man-Brille, der UW im "Anzug" mit Tatoo am Arm. Da er einer meiner großen Alltimefavorites ist war der Kauf klar. Schön auch der Hinweis auf der Rückseite der Verpackung, dass der UW mit dem MM im Jahre 1992 die Ultimate Maniacs bildete. Warum allerdings der Macho Man in der Ultimate Maniacs-Ausführung "nur" in der Elite-Reihe kam und nicht auch in der Defining-Reihe wissen wohl nur die Hersteller und der liebe Gott. Schade drum. Hätten die 2 doch in der gleichen Verpackung nebeneinander im Regal sicher besser zusammen gepasst. Ja, wie zu lesen ist, ich sammle die Teile und packe sie nicht aus. Als Fan der Figuren auf jeden Fall eine gute Wahl. Ein würdiger Hall of Famer der verstorbene James Hellwig
