EBL EBL 1100mAh Super Capacity AAA Rechargeable Batteries, 4 Pack

This brand is excellent for rechargeable batteries. These batteries seem to hold their charge level for a very long time. Also they seem to be genuine 1100mAh, unlike a lot of other brands claim to be. All products from EBL are reliable, consistent, and a great value vs price. But the most important thing to me is that they are safe. Rechargeable batteries are something you definitely need to be careful about. In the past I would usually buy the cheapest I could find, thinking they are all basically the same and why pay more than I need to. Well a few years ago I learned the hard way after I bought the cheapest set I could find online. After using them for only a few months I had a terrible experience. I had put them on the charger to recharge them and I went about my business. About an hour later I could smell something almost burning. I eventually looked at the batteries that I had on the charger and at this point, they just started to release a tiny bit of smoke. So I quickly and carefully grabbed the charger with the batteries still in it and tossed it outside my front door. Thankfully I did because right after I did that, they immediately started hissing and exploded into a ball of fire. Fortunately I consider myself lucky for that situation, because my whole house could've burned down that day. Of course those batteries and my charger were ruined in that fire. I highly recommend these batteries as an alternative to Energizer or Duracell, if you want excellent quality without paying a ton.

Happy to say the product did the job. Was gifted a motion monitor for our next baby but the rechargeable batteries in the parent unit had all but given out, for a very affordable price I opted for these, charged up nicely overnight and now we can use the parent unit off the charger for long periods without issue.

Hight quality and worked perfectly. They last all night with the solar lights that I installed them in.

Nice to have extra rechargeable batteries during Florida summer storm season

I've used EBL rechargeable AA/AAA batteries for years. Both the 2300 and 2800 mAh AA's and the 1100 mAh AAA's. I've never had any problems with them, they immediately test good for rated capacity right out of the box, or at least after a couple charge/discharge cycles. This time I bought 8 more 2800 AA's and 16 more 1100 AAA's. None of the AA's even tested up to 2300, and none of the AAA's even tested up to 1000. I have some of both that years after purchase and tons of cycles still rank between 95-99% of rated capacity. One of the AA's from the new batch tested at 1836 out of the box and after a subsequent charge/discharge cycle capacity test, tested at 1812. I don't know if I just got a bad batch from the factory, or if these have been sitting mostly discharged in Amazon's warehouse for years... The funny thing to me though is that of all the Amazon Basics AA/AAA's I've bought in the past, they're rated with a minimum capacity value, and always test well above that. For example, I have some Amazon Basics AAA's rated "800 minimum" that still test 110-115% that minimum rating even after being left discharged in a drawer for a year or more. I don't know if I can trust EBL anymore. I'm going to spend some time running these through several charge/discharge capacity test cycles to see if they improve over time, and if so, I'll update this review, otherwise I'm going to stay away. They're a great value when they meet capacity expectations, but not when they test 600-1000 mAh under rating for the AA's and 150-300 mAh under rating for the AAA's.
