I am having treatment for prostrate cancer, one of the side effects is hot flashes (prefer to call it the sweats) every three hours or so. I use the neck fan during waking hours and find that it helps tremendously in quickly lowering my temperature and reducing sweating, obviously works during the night as well but I typically get out of bed and have a cold sponge. The device is light, well made, has three speeds and I charge it once each day. An excellent buy for me at a very reasonable price, highly recommended.

Love this product on hot days, it helps you to stay cool off from the hot air. The speed is jusg right, works well and great value for money. Fast charging! And easy to use.

I have just gotten this, have only had it for a day. It is made of good materials, very soft. Cool air flows out of it, and cools me off, quickly. It says it has a cooling module in the motherboard, and that is a big plus. It isn't spewing hot air. I have not been in very hot weather inside my house, but outside it helped, and it was around 90 today. If I don't have my air conditioner on, it does get hot, so, I think this will give cool air, even when it is hot. Some of these neck fans on the market just give hot air. I think the cooling module on this one, makes a big difference.I have it on low tonight, and it is a lot of cool, for low. Low and med. work for me.I am hoping this lasts a while. The recharging is not long, and I own one of those extra outlets you plug into a standard wall outlet. It has regular outlets, and the wide slits that are for an adapter, or charging cord, such as the type in the box with the product. You can buy these extra outlets anywhere. Go to Target, Amazon, Staples, any big box store. It just gives you a lot of different outlets, for different devices. Just plug that into your wall outlet, and the thin end look of the charging cord (plugging the other end into the neck fan) into it. Look for the thin, wide opening on te extra outlet. Plug in. And, look for the spot on the neck fan with the plug in area, this is on the bottom side where there are no openings for air. You can also use the phone charger that came with your cell phone. They can be used in a standard wall outlet. it is good to have the extra wall outlet, though, just in case you need to plug something in that can't plug into your wall outlet.There were a few people who didn't seem to know where to plug in, or why it wasn't working with the regular wall outlet, so I thought maybe I could describe it a little. Is there anything worse than lanky hair and a hot neck in the summer? Wear this and you will immediately feel better all over. The low setting is practically inaudible, and the high setting isn't too noisy. I love mine.

The product was good and did cool you down but the battery life is not great. It expands very well so it may fall off your neck very easily. Not very useful outdoors, works better indoors. However, it stopped working a month after I purchased and I’m not sure of the reason. When I press the power button the blue light blinks.

I bought several of these as gifts. Feedback from them was good. Helped with jobs they had such as mail carrier, two people who do yard work, etc. they thanked me for them and happily use them. I bought myself one also to work in my flowerbed. Helps me keep my cool

I was so leery about purchasing this item tgat I actually waited till someone I knew and trusted was using one. They swore by it and the next day it was delivered. I had purchased this not for myself but for a friend for her birthday as she suffered from heat stroke. Her birthday is in November but I gave it to her so she could enjoy being outside and puttering in her garden. It's a big hit, thinking of ordering one for myself now. It is so lightweight you'd never worry about it being too heavy. The noise isn't bad at all and you can enjoy a book with this on as it won't distract you. The battery life is like 6 to 8 hours depending on the speed you want to run it. Running it oh high speed will use the battery faster than using low speed. Hair WILL NEVER get caught. There are no blades to this device that hair could catch on. I'm sure there are more positives but until it gets used more and all the nuances discovered this is it for now!

After reading all of the reviews and watching user videos, I made the purchase hoping it would really help me in the Florida heat and humidity. Pros: The unit was comfortable and charged upon receipt, started right up and the 3 levels of the fan gave good options and even the highest level wasn't obnoxiously loud. It was comfortable around the neck and wasn't heavy. I simultaneously purchased another model as I couldn't choose between the two. Both definitely had a "cooling effect" but only while trying it inside an airconditioned home. Cons: Compared with the other model by another seller, this one wasn't as comfortable, the fan was a bit louder and the price point for this one was about $10 cheaper. The plastic of this one was a bit stiffer than the other model which was softer and more pliable, so a little more comfortable. Out of the 2 I tried, the other model would have been my personal preference over this one). The REAL test and purpose for me though, was how it would perform outdoors. Stepping outside to test the fan proved, sadly, that it was not going to be a keeper for me. It did not have any cooling effect at all, despite what some reviewers led me to believe. It simply directed all that hot, humid Florida air towards my face and neck. I still gave it a mid-level, 3-star rating though because I think, depending on the application - there could be times this might really work for someone (ie if you intend on using while working out at the gym, or for women with hot flashes that would use it either in cooler outdoor weather, or in air conditioning for that extra boost of cool).
