Hasbro Monopoly And Cluedo Compendium Board Game- Multi Color, Kids

This game set is great. I was visiting family in the UK and my mother told me about this set she had seen at a store. When I saw it for myself I purchased it from Amazon to get a good deal. This set went in my suitcase, (despite the size and weight). This set is excellent and very well made for the money. The board and pieces are higher quality than the standard board game versions. Me and my family had good fun over the Christmas vacation playing Monopoly, Cluedo, and cards. This set is ideal to place on a coffee table or side table in a games room. It is worth the money when one considers the cost of buying the inferior, standard games, individually. The set includes Monopoly, Cluedo, Chess, Checkers, playing cards, dominoes and cribbage. The price is even lower now in the January sales.

Great to have so many good games all contained together and we were delighted with the price we paid.Quality of box superb although quality of wooden checkers slightly rough. Monopoly money slightly smaller than normal and color of notes different from monopoly I had as a child. Chance and community chest cards don't have name on back to identify which you should be taking. The only problem with playing monopoly on a raised up board is that it is harder to see what properties other players have so might be best to lift board off.All in all very happy with thep roduct and glad to have purchased.

I have been looking at these sets for a couple of years, I finally took the plunge. Firstly, it's great to have a neat set of dependable games with storage space for all the bits and bobs. Things like the wooden hotels and houses are great, though the scale of the set is a little smaller than a traditional set. I only really bought this set for the Monopoly. I would think if you are likely to play all the other games more often, that's where the value in this set lies. If you want the monopoly in particular I think you may find a normal set to be a better option.This set is also a little smaller in scale than a traditional set.Sadly there are a couple of things that have soured this buy a bit for me. The wooden box is good, but the level of finish is not what I would have expected for the price, there were quite a few scrapes and dings out of the box (better protective packaging of the actual Monopoly box, not Amazon packing, may have helped) to the point that I nearly returned the item. Had it been a gift for someone else, I would have returned it. There are two other things that let this down, the finish of the actual board is again okay, but not to the standard of a decent 'normal set'. The final disappointment is that the board has no seal to the box, I'd been hoping that it would hold itself shut, thus securing the pieces inside.

This compendium is fantastic for any family who wants a collection of classic board games in a compact and very attractive cabinet. Love the way it fits together as well as the quality of the game pieces and boards.Have had several family game nights off the back of this purchase and hope to have many more!

Great games that bring back so many memories. The dominoes and chess pieces are magnificent, high quality. Great compartments for all pieces, in a high quality sturdy wooden box. The only negatives are that the 2 sets of chess pieces are very similar in colour, a problem for those with poor close up eyesight, and the Monopoly money and cards are very small. On the whole though a real bargain.
