Waited to write a review
Digital 35mm-equivalent shooter here. I wanted to use this tripod for a while before reviewing it. Two years (?) is probably enough wait time. After lugging tripods for what seems like a lifetime, I was ready to shed a few pounds. Going with a carbon fiber tripod seemed quicker than going on a chancy diet. It was the right decision. The tripod folds to a compact size. The setup is reasonably quick and after a few days became second nature. The ball head and quick-release work as expected. The working height range has handled a variety of situations. The bottom of the central column has a handy hook so you can hang a weight for more stability during long exposures. I have only used the detachable monopod once but that’s neither here nor there. If I need support, the tripod is compact and lightweight enough to lug around. In a studio situation it’s a no-brainer. My only gripe is I wish the carrying case had an internal pocket to keep accessories but that’s just quibbling. So far the tripod has survived a few drops and occasional rough handling (scuffs add character). Time will keep telling.

Good Tripod, Great Value
I find this tripod to be a great value, priced very well for what you get. It could be a bit more stable and sturdy. It is very stable and very sturdy, but not quite enough to do night photography. For daytime and moderate darkness, it works great. I like the flexibility to use it in a number of different configurations.. I also like the light weight, small folded down size and portability.

Really nice tripod, but a bit shaky at full height
The build quality of this tripod is pretty good overall, especially for carbon fiber. The ball head and QR plate are solid. The tripod is super adjustable with some really great features. I love the compact design of it fully folded and it’s nice and light—really great for packing. The one negative for me was the fact it was a bit wobbly fully extended to its full height. I have a Canon 5D Mark III and when I had the center post all the way up and all of the legs fully extended, I found it was a bit wobbly and that’s just with a 40mm pancake lens and flash unit on the camera. The problem for me, as I saw it, were the final sections of the legs, which were also the thinnest sections. They tended to be slightly ’flexy’ with the center post all the way up. That concerns me when I will need to take full-length photos of some of the taller people I’ll need to photograph. At 60” (5 feet), the tripod feels good and stable; it’s that extra 7” extended that changes things. So many things to like about this tripod, but I don’t think I can use it for my regular work projects.

A good value for a travel tripod
Bought this as a "throw-away" tripod for my last journey to eastern Europe with the idea that if needed, it could be left behind. It's cheaper than my regular carbon-fiber tripod though not quite as sturdy but a lot lower cost. It comes complete with a smart-phone clamp and quick-release place and folds up quite nicely. Even comes with the proper wrenches. However, the feet unscrew easily and one must constantly make sure they down come out. There are a few other little things that easily loosen but they are minor and if you are aware, you shouldn't have issues. One thing I like is that this tripod extends a little higher than my other small travel sticks but, like other than my larger tripod, there's no easy way to get the camera near to the ground other than upside-down which looks great in an ad, but has always been a PIA in practices. IMO, when the legs can go nearly to the ground, the column should be able to be split so that one doesn't have to carry a short center column nor try to work the camera glass-awkward.

My Everyday Tripod
This is my baby. It's compact, light, but strong. I love that I can turn it into a monopod when doing sports. I went ahead and purchased a handle, so I love it even more. Definitely worth the purchase.

Great height, versitile light weight sturdy tripod! Value for money!
I am a professional architecture and interior photographer and also do videography. Was looking for a tripod that is light yet stable and sturdy (since my equipment can be heavy i.e. tilt shift/telezoom lenses, and expensive). This K&F tripod ticked all the boxes and the price point is perfect. This tripod has an excellent and smooth quick release system which is important for me especially when moving from location to location during the critical lighting window for outdoor shots. The tripod's height is impressive and it can be extended with an option to attach additional weight at the centre of gravity point to make it even more secure. The tripod's colour is vibrant and the finishing is smooth. I personally prefer twist locks for the tripod legs, although this is definitely a matter of personal preference. The legs can also be extended outwards using the quick release clip to have an even lower height. This may be particularly helpful when trying to get a lower vantage point for artistic reasons, such as when focussing on the foreground. Would definitely reccomend as a studio or outdoor tripod or even for events and travel! Carbon fiber tripods are ideal for travelling.

Heavy, but sturdy
Overall it is a great tripod and would recommend it. This is my second purchase of this brand and this time around it seems the legs were stuck. Two of the three legs required me to forcibly extend the sections. It was like the tightening part was stuck to the portion below, not allowing the leg to extend. Once I pulled out the whole section, moved the tightening ring up, it worked fine.

I love it. But...
I love it. But there's a crack on the rubber close to the ball head. Not sure if I'll return it or live with it.
