GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka Vol. 4

Everything went perfectly. Great anime. Items as described and in great condition.

My volume 4 of GTO came in great condition and I'm loving it. Took a little longer than expected but it was worth the wait.

What's cool (or rad or dope... pick your fashionable superlative) one decade is embarrassing and passe the next. One could hope that's the case with the Neanderthal junior high humor of GTO, which apparently was a hugely popular manga title. It's all F-cups and supposedly testosterone-fueled stunts. It's a juvenile eat-your-own-boogers, look-at-my-manliness buffoon-fest with a dose of misogyny and hating people with disabilities thrown in (see the Tomoko Nomura subplot). The middle and high school kids I know are light years beyond this.

My brother seems to like this series, I don't really get it but it does have an interesting story. Not sure what's going on in it though.
