Super yummy
These are great. I like to use them in cooking but also for just a dry snack for me and my bunnies.

Excellent Taste & Texture
I am a backcountry canoer and backpacker and always on the lookout for good freeze-dried products. I recently purchased Mother Earth corn, peas, carrots and green beans. Because the green beans have the fewest reviews, some of which are just nonsensical, I chose to review them.In 10 minutes of boiling (probably could do with just seven minutes) these reconstitute to their original form, both in taste and texture. Not only do I add them to one-pot dinners, I eat them as stand-alone side dishes. I served them for dinner at home one night instead of fresh or frozen just to see what would happen and no one noticed the difference.Ignore the negative reviews. I read one that said these green beans are more expensive than Karen's Naturals and Augason Farms and don't taste as good. Guess what, neither Karen's Naturals nor Augason Farms sells green beans. Another reviewer complained they were a choking hazard. I admit I don't eat them in their freeze-dried state but be honest, didn't you chuckle when you read that?Bottom line, these are great tasting as green beans could be.

Cook with these all the time
These are so simple to use and store. The container is on my cabinet shelf and whenever I need a quick veggie side, just pop a handful into a mug of boiling water, wait a minute, drain and serve. Add a handful to stews and casseroles. With a shelf life of about 12 months, once opened, it eliminates food waste. Best of all is the just picked flavor and snap. Only downside is the occasional bean may look wizened- but the flavor and texture is farm fresh.

Delicious and our dog loves them as a healthy low calorie treat
Great soup ingredient. During flu cold season I make "I am so sick soup" and it is so easy to add a handful of these to the simmering soup. They come out perfectly plump and taste great.I have been buying these freeze dried green beans since we brought our Golden Retriever puppy home. Now at 1 year old they are still her favorite bite size treat. Her first day home with us I rinsed a fresh green bean and she gobbled it down. When she went to puppy obedience camp I sent along freeze dried green beans. Other trainers chided her primary trainer Megan about ha ha ha green beans. Megan demonstrated and all were amazed.A neighbors Vet suggested green beans for weight control for his dog. Our Vet always questions treats until we said she loves freeze dried greens beans. Please talk to your Veternarian !!! before offering to your dog!!!A great product I will continue to buy for my famous soup and Miss Jazzy.

Not much for the money
I liked that I could throw in a handful of freeze dried green beans into shelf stable meals that have no vegetables. I did not like that the "1quart" package was a lot smaller than what I expected. I think I'll just grow my own green beans this year. They won't be shelf stable for 25 years, but I went through this jar in less than a week.

Little bland but rehydrates well
I’m incorporating more dehydrated veggies into meals cooking during camping trips. These beans are an excellent addition to my kitchen supply on the road. They def lose a little flavor in the dehydration process but still tasty. Def won’t be the same experience as regular uncooked fresh beans but they take up a lot less space than canned green beans and portion control is easier

Dog didn’t like them
I was thinking that my dog would like the dried green beans, but he didn’t… Then I remembered that I’ve gotten these before, but it was mixed veggies… He liked some of them, but not others, and Not the Green Beans! I gave them to a friend, in hopes that her dog would like them…. Haven’t asked her yet…..
