Recieved damaged book
This was ordered as a gift and we received a damaged cover book. The kid obviously did not like it. Content of course is well known to be an wonderful.

Original version
My 10 year old grandson loves these Famous Five books. They are wonderful for the imagination and he always gets very involved with the adventures. He has the whole series and will miss them when he comes to the end. The original illustrations and text give a good sense of the period in which they are set, which adds to the interest.

Love the "real" looking drawings of this printing of the series. As always timeless good stories for any age group. Read one or read the series, you'll love them.

If you have never read Enid Blyton's Famous Five stories, now is the time to do so!
Enid Blyton's Famous Five books are timeless, and take us back to an era when children were more independent than today, and when sardine sandwiches were all the rage! In the books, the children go camping on their own, sailing on their own, and are just generally more self-reliant and independent. Enjoy :)
