same problem here. 20 ton. returned one, and new replacement does the same thing. over 100lbs of pressure and still no lower. must stand on... which is effing hard when in a crawlspace.. hard to remove from area jacked up also, because wont lower.

How tall is this jack when all the way down? I need to get it under 9" high car frame

The jack is less then a foot high but it probably at least nine inches. I keep it in the back of my jeep and haven't measured it. If I get a chance I'll do it later and respond again.

4 ton jack will lift ford f150 truck? or do i have to get 6 or 8 ton?

Sir ...Your F150 - - even "IF" a 4WD, with the largest Triton V-8, will never need greater than that 4 ton unit

Is the 12 inches enough to fit under a Toyota hilux ? Will the 12 inch height be enough to lift the hilux and change the spare tire ?

Your question was sent to me. I don't know much about cars these days. But I do know that if this jack will fit under the car, it will lift the car a sufficient distance for you to change the tire. Be sure and put a jack stand in place after you have lifted the car.
