Conair Double Ceramic Curling Iron; 1 1/4-inch Curling Iron; White/Rose Gold

So I got this way back in 2020 when I desperately needed a new curling iron and the supplier I got my usual brand from was sold out. I’m a professional stylist and I’m not a brand snob, I’m cheap and don’t like spending a lot of money on something when I can find something for less that does the same thing and while I got this without a lot of expectations, I can say I was VERY impressed with the quality and how well it works. I’ve been using it almost every day, multiple times a day, for over 4 years now and it’s still working great! My clients love the beachy waves I give them with this iron, but it also makes really nice curls as well. My only complaint is how short the cord is, I have to turn my chair quite a bit to get all sides of my client’s head but it’s a small inconvenience. I would absolutely buy another one of these when the one I have finally conks out!

I dont think the curls are as long lasting as i had hoped but this does its job well enough. Im happy to see my frizzy hair getting under control, at least, in this warm and humid country. Reasonably priced too. Dual voltage

Good little inexpensive curling iron. It gets the job done and ceramic coating leaves your hair shinier and smoother. It has adjustable heat settings so as not to fry your hair if it is chemically processed or damaged. I would prefer that the temperature readout was digital instead of a number wheel so out that I would know exactly what the temperature is as this is important for my bleached blonde hair. I took off one star because the cord is shorter than most curling irons and I had to stand fairly close to the electrical outlet in order to use, so may not be useful for others if their mirror is not close to the outlet. Just as a note, Conair and Babyliss are made by the same company, so you are getting a relatively comparable product to their higher end for less money.

I don't understand the bad reviews? I have straight hair that usually can't hold curls. this thing however does the job perfectly, even with the heat setting on 15. It heats up fast, and is easy to set and hold. I wish the cord was slightly longer but that's just me i think. I haven't used the turbo heat (yet-- i might try to just because) but I don't think i'll need it.
