MSR Fabric Repair Kit

I thought a fabric repair kit for tents would include fabric patches that matched my tent. Instead these patches are clear plastic patches that are quite effective but not what I expected. I haven't used the no-seeum patches so I can't comment on the effectiveness of those yet.I will say that the oval patches are not the best configuration. I would prefer one large piece of repair tape to cut my own sized patches out of and that is what other patch tape offerings do.They do work though... I mistakenly stepped into the edge of the tent this winter with my cramp-ons on and I heard... Pop, pop, pop as I punched holes in the bottom of the tent. These patches cleaned up the holes in the tent and I was able to test it out in subsequent camp outs.

Worked well on our stretch dome tent and our single walled tent. Recommend cutting it to size and applying to inside of tent. Applies easily and so far it has not peeled away from the fabric.We used it to cover small holes from our cat's claws. Has anyone used it on therma rests?

My MSR fabric repair kit arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Application the patches was very easy - just make sure to clean the area being patched thoroughly. The patches will stick regardless, but the fix shuld last indefinately if a proper cleaning is done prior to application. Highly recommended!

Excellent product. Used it to repair my lawnmower collection bag. Working great. A new bag was over $70 dollars

Good. A bit too small sometimes and they won't stick there for too long.

Patches work well for fixing mesh area in MSR tents.

Product arrived in a timely fashion and in great shape. I have yet to actually use it, though, and can't truly give more of a review other than to say that I carry the kit on every hike and it doesn't weigh me down. Piece of mind knowing that I won't have to ruin my tent with duck tape again... Rounded corners and goes on clear so they all but disappear.
