I was using sodium chloride, pharmaceutical grade, to salt my food. I recently switched to Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt because of multiple youtubers claiming that this brand tested cleanest for heavy metals and microplastics. I have to use more product to get the same salt taste compared to the sodium chloride I was using. I like that this brand is a bit flaky, which elevates cooking results a bit. I'm happy so far and will continue purchasing this.

I was watching a YouTube channel and a Doctor was conducting a salt evaluation! Out of 6 top brands of salts this one came out the purest salt! He himself started using it versus the one mined in Utah! I too use to the one mined in Utah until he showed it had metal in it because it’s mined with machinery! If you want PURE salt I would highly recommend this salt! Oh yeah, the cost is so much less than the Utah salt!

I really like consistency of the grains itself. The item is in a cardboard box so I also love that there’s less plastic exposure, most of the health food salts are all in plastic and it’s such a shame. Edit-knocked a star off after pouring into storage jars because I noticed some specks in the salt as well as this thing, not sure what it is.

The best salt on the market in regards to being pure with very little if not any heavy metals in it. I’ve looked extensively into chemicals that are in all foods water etc. This salt is the best and safest you can buy for your family. All be it pricey. Highly recommend.

Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt is a great salt and is less intense than normal table salt. I also like its flavour and low sodium content. Love cooking with this salt.
