I bought this to bridge a 25 foot 3.5mm male to male to another 3.5mm male plug from a speaker. The piece is functional and solid. I have not had any sound distortion or any crackles- which means it gets the thumbs up from me.

I needed to adapt to a 3.5mm plug, bought this item and it's working fine. It's plugged into a Wouxun ham radio handheld which gets some handling, so far it's holding up fine.
