DevCor Professional
This book is a good overview of technologies covered in the DevCor Exam. As far as the exam, some specific topics would be nice to have a bit more granularity.Advice for the exam: Study all the Technologies really well, skip all the Cisco specific stuff. Get familiar with docker and K8. For sure learn some ansible and Teraform, or whatever IaC / config manager you are interested in.And then wait for it . . .Skip the Exam.Seriously, the time I spent trying to memorize specific cisco endpoint verbiage, or different query strings, the typical things one uses documentation and Google to find.Again highly useful Study materials, and learning to be had on this track. Just do not expect the Exam to do much more than challenge your memory of python 2 and your 5 years of experience only developing on Cisco products [tongue in cheek].Good Luck with your choice!

Not worth it.
This book reeks of desperation for Cisco to get a professional level DeOps book to market for the DEVCOR exam. The bulk of this book is a history of software development and how the IT industry got the the point of DevOps and automation in general. Several times, in an attempt to beef up word count, the exact same paragraph is re-copied within several pages of each other. This book is supposed to be the "Official Cert Guide" for the DEVCOR 350-901 exam. Anyone who has ever taken a Cisco exam knows that the exams do not cover questions on history, making the majority of the content irrelevant to the exam. I would not recommend this book to anyone who is purchasing it with the intention of sitting for the exam.
