These scissors are great for young children. They have a comfortable grip, are lightweight, and cut paper cleanly without any issues. The rounded tips make them feel much safer for little hands, and the quality is better than I expected. They seem durable enough for everyday school and craft projects. Good little scissors. Definitely easier for right handed children

These scissors are great for my 5 year old who is learning to cut. She’s ambidextrous and has no problems when switching hands with the smoothness and accuracy of cutting. They work well with printer paper, construction paper and cardstock all though it becomes difficult to cut for her due to hand strength. We’ve never had any issues with being difficult to open or close and getting that “sticky” or “loose” feeling when you’re attempting to cut.
