Manufacturing defect
I had purchased a HEINE Gamma G5 aneroid blood pressure apparatus through Amazon.in on 3 November 2025. Within a relatively short period of use, the BP cuff has detached from its air tubing, rendering the apparatus non-functional. I have also come across reports from other doctors who have experienced failure of the cuff at the same location. This suggests that the issue may be related to a manufacturing defect rather than normal wear and tear. I would also like to mention that I had purchased the same HEINE Gamma G5 BP apparatus in 2017, and it functioned reliably for nearly five years without any such issue. This further strengthens my belief that the current product may have a manufacturing defect.
