Strobe Flash All Brake Lights
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I replaced all the bulbs on my 2002 Ford Explorer Sportrac with LEDs. I then added the XP-W60 to the brake switch wiring at my break pedal. For my vehicle, I only needed to cut one wire. The wire was identified as #2 on the Connector at the switch, and was green in color. I made the connections as described in the instructions. The Strobe worked exactly as described. There is no a fail safe for this device. Should it fail, you will not have any brake lights. This is why I went with the more expensive unit. Considering that my brake lights could fail because of a multitude of other reasons, the fact that this device could fail is not a valid reason not to install it. Hopefully I can use this to keep people from riding my a**!

Great value for your safety
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Easy installation on my 2007 ZX-10R. It took about 10 minutes. Take off rear seat, loosen the two bolts holding the tail fairing down. Lift up on the fairings gaining access to the tail light plug and unplug it. Then it’s just a matter of splicing into the ground (black/yellow stripe) and brake wire (blue).Works great and the price was good.

INTERIM REVIEW - Did not work
Installed this on a 2003 Subaru Outback third brake light. Actual installation did not take that long (after I finally found my crimping tool). Instructions are adequate, but completely unexplained is why the negative lead from module out is optional. I used it anyway.Good news - the third brake light worked.Bad news - the third brake light did not flash. At all. No matter how many times the brake pedal was pressed.I then disconnected the negative lead from module out. No change.I sent the seller an e-mail via Amazon (no other way to contact them). I will update this review on how fast they respond, what they are going to do, and if the replacement works.By they way, the adhesive strip they supply is carp. I have some actual 3M strips I would use if this thing ever works.UPDATE - NEXT DAYAmazingly I received a response from the seller that evening, and it was a Sunday! BUT, he wanted me to measure the voltage at the input with the brake lightt not active. OK -- I don;t have a volt meter, only a little tester that glows a light if 12v is present and he was looking for 1-3.5 volts!I replied that I didn't have a tester and since the brake light worked fine, except it didn't flash, obviously the unit isn't working. He then replied rather quickly with the same instructions and said that some cars have a small voltage in the system even when the pedal isn't depressed and that could be the problem. HUH? Listing says it's universal. By that time I had removed the unit as I needed the car for the next day and did not want it to somehow fail.I returned it as defective. Not going to get a replacement.

Great value for added safety. Easy install.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. So far a great product. Got to my door quickly and well packaged. Even came in an anti static bag which was cool, if not a bit overkill. The instructions were very easy to follow, and from the time I opened the garage to having put the last clip back in the liner for the trunk it took me all of 20 minutes to install. For the price and the time it took, I say its well worth it to add even a little bit of safety when you drive on the freeway as much as I do. Did not dim the light at all from the install. The only con I can think of is that it did not come with any connectors of any kind. I have my own weatherproof connectors lying around, so that wasn't an issue for me. Hopefully it lasts a good long while.

Works Great; Wakes Up the Sleepyhead Commuters
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Having somebody slam on their brakes behind you because they don’t see your bike at a stop sign is something you only want to experience one time. I don’t think that will happen to me again. This little device handles my crazy bright LED brake lights just fine, flashes exactly the number of times I’d like (“Hey! Wake UP! Motorcycle stopping!”, and installs in a couple of minutes if you know basic motorcycle wiring.Darn good value for the money. It will probably save my life. See video for flashing speeds.
