Great clean scent and an excellent way to add volume and texture, especially if you have thinning hair/balding. A little goes a long way. Apply it to wet hair and style as usual. I’ve searched FOREVER for a sea salt spray to mimic the actual ocean. While this one isn’t exact, it’s the closest I have tried. It gives a decent “I just left the beach” feel. The scent was a little off putting at first, not because it smells bad (it actually smells good) but it was just unexpected. Just fyi it is a more masculine scent if that is something that will bother you If you’re struggling to find a sea salt spray I’d say give it a shot!

I gave four stars because I received the bottle without a cap. Makes me wonder if someone returned it or if it was tampered with. Other than that this is a WONDERFUL product gives hair a matted look, creates texture and volume along with a pleasant scent. I’d like to add that my significant other used this as well - he has straight hair and it gave him some nice waves. He also noted that it kept his shine down which is important to him since his hair does get oily. With us living in a humid hot climate that doesn’t help much to his issue but this has seemed to combat that problem. He pairs it with the Aveda grooming clay (purple lettering) it does wonders used together.

My teenage son’s hair usually has two modes: "just rolled out of bed during a windstorm" or "plastered down with gel." This stuff is the ultimate middle ground. A few spritzes and suddenly he has that effortless, textured, "I just spent the day catching waves" look. It smells great, doesn't leave his hair crunchy, and gives him just enough effortless volume to look put-together without looking like he tried. 10/10. Will definitely buy again before this bottle mysteriously "migrates" into his backpack permanently.

This stuff works great. I spray it on after a shower when my hair is wet. I either let my hair dry naturally or use a hair dryer. My hair instantly combs and stays in place. My one complaint is it stinks. The smell is not pleasant at all. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I just can't get used to the smell, it's almost an offensive smell. I'm bummed because the product works so well, but the stink is not good. I won't be buying it again, and will continue to seek out a sea salt that works similar to this product.

Best sea salt spray I've tried, and I've tried dozens. I have fine hair, have always had fine hair since childhood, and I've tried many dozens of different hair products in my life to find the very few that don't weigh my hair down. This works fantastically. When I get out of the shower, I "comb" my hair backward with my fingers, spray about 10 spritzes all around my head, then blow dry while teasing my hair around. This spray has a nice masculine cologne-like smell, but it's subtle enough that it won't interfere if you are wearing actual cologne. Once you blow dry your hair, your hair will be poofed up. Then use a texture/fiber/cream that you've emulsified in your hands to tease your hair where you want it, then spray with a light hold hairspray. Works flawlessly for me.

I tried this product to add some volume to my naturally straight hair. The wide-angle spray provides good coverage but it leaves my hands feeling slightly sticky and the smell isn’t great. It works best on wet hair then dried with a hairdryer. While it adds volume, it makes my hair feel almost straw-like. If you’re looking for a hold-in spray this isn’t it. It gives volume but doesn’t keep styles in place. The bottle lasts me just over a month and I use about five to six sprays every two days. Overall, I’d recommend it for those wanting volume without the need for hold.
