Apples Itunes,etc is just so horrible in terms of the liquidity of getting your media ,etc off of their phone. I for some reason couldn’t move anything thru itunes and tried several other methods and finally a co-worker recommended this product and I purchased it and by a miracle it worked. It still took a long time, which is somewhat understandable , but overall all I caree about was would it work and move my photo’s and it did the job. Now the only thing is this plugs in to the lightening port of the older iPhone's and now everyone has the type C port so hoping Sandisk will make this same product to fit the newer model phones . Definitely recommend though

I took all of my photos( from my phone) of my recent trip to Italy and put them on the disk! Easy to use and I have additional memory to use for other trips and photos so they will all be in one place..

This works, but the disappointing thing is that it absolutely requires the Sandisk app to be installed in your iPhone or iPad. The flash drive does not show up as simply an external device in the Files app; it does not work at all without the app, and once you install the app everything you want to do with the flash drive requires using the app. Needless to say, the app's UI does not really follow the Apple guidelines - it does not look like anything else in an iPhone.This makes a lot of things a lot harder than they might be, especially if you intended to use it to use files that are not "known" to the Sandisk app (if you want to play videos that are not MOV or MP4, for example). In most cases, it might be easier and simpler to use a cheap standard USB flash drive with a USB-to-lightning adapter.

Need some upgradation in device to improve download speeds to device
