Great replacment for failed ligth fixture out of warrenty
Works great, replaced a 200 watt full spectrum chip in my Failed Apollo light fixture with this 100 watt 6500k chip. Plants are happy using on the "VEG" side so full spectrum is not needed. The old chip had two drivers powering it, 1 for each side of the chip. Used 1 driver to power this chip works just fine still super bright, and have an extra driver for later use. the 200 watt chip are a lot more expensive so this is a great alternative. Used some thermal paste in between the chip and heat sink. soldered the old wire with the old "clips" attached for easy hookup! have been in use for 2 weeks and still works Great. Plant is getting huge under this bulb/Chip! Update: 1/13/20 been using this bulb off and on now for almost 3 years and still going strong but it does blink on and off for a coulple minutes when first turned on, looks like all 100 diodes are lit still hard to see its so blinding probally a driver issue not the bulb been doing that for months now but keeps going. 5000k to 6500k works great for growing plants much brighter than the T5 fixture with 6500k bulbs next to it. The sun is 5000k so these are close. full spectrum or 3500k or lower for flowering plants.

One row of diodes are dead
Edit- the more I think about it id say it gets 5 stars for being $9 Thereโs one row of the diodes that are dead and donโt get any brighter than a subtle glow, but itโs still extremely bright. More like 4.5 stars, quality seems slightly questionable but still excellent value for the money

This is a high quality COB LED
This is an extremely good quality and bright COB LED. Gets very hot and requires a heatsink as well as a fan. Otherwise, it will begin flickering in about 10 minutes.

Good form factor and bright is OK, let's wait for durability.
Very bright and good fit to replace same type of form factor. We need to wait for durability rating (installed just one week), will follow up to describe the behavior for the expected life as well the warranty.

Great Replacement Chip
Used these to replace some very old chips that were partially failing. Great replacement part!

Good Quality Chips
Good LED Chips. Put in a Grow Light Project and using them upwards of 16 hours a day for months with a DC to DC Power Converter with great success. Combining Cool White and Warm White in the lighting project, the plants love it. Ordered 4 and only one has a bit of flicker but once warmed up, it stabilizes and works fine. Of course these (as any) Power LED's must be mounted on a properly sized heat sink with thermal compound for proper full time usage.

It works and i would recommend if you need a cheap 100watt LED to light up an area if your working or need lots of light.
It seems to work just great in my testing. Only at very low currents will it be lit unevenly. but once it starts lighting up a little more (dispersing light into the room) all of them suddenly light up evenly At just half a watt of power it's already impossible to tell and they all seem perfectly even in brightness I'd recommend lighting them with less than full power just so they will last significantly longer. its like running your car gently rather than revving it to max hammering the throttle constantly. it'll always last longer when if you dont run it like you stole it. I run mine at 10 to 25 watts. maybe 50 watts. and its more than plenty bright enough for me!!! great as a work light!

Too Hot
I don't see how it would possible to keep the chip cool. With 30V input, 5 ohm resistor, and suspended in a wind tunnel it lasted about 90 seconds.

Failed after 5 months
Both chips have now failed after 5 months use as a nightime foodlight. Bought and fitted to replace chips in a 100w floodlight, with heatsink, and good quality of thermal paste used. Pretty unimpressed. I have 2x 50w chips to replace the same in a floodlight which has chips (7+ years old) beginning to fail. I'm not sure i want to go to the hassle of changing these for the chanzon chips if they are going to offer a similar lifespan...
