Aluminum-Free Deodorant, Women & Men Santal & Vetiver 2.6 oz

Ok, I get that these cost more but they last a whole day. Gentle scent, not that clinical waft that becomes your cologne once you put it on. And you don't need much. It's better for your body as well. I'm a big fan of the Salt and Stone products.

I absolutely love this deodorant! I'd been using Native, which I also liked but once I tried Salt and Stone Black Rose and Oud I was hooked. It works well and the I just love the scent. In fact, I've recently ordered their body mist. Can't wait to receive it! The other scents seemed very nice but this one really stood out for me. This deodorant is a little pricy but I think it's worth it to have something that works but also smells really nice.

Here's the English version: --- I was on the fence about trying it, but seeing so many great ratings for this brand made me decide. And wow, the results blew me away, they're spectacular. I'm already on my third purchase: two santal and one azafran 111and they're all amazing. The scent has something elegant and good at the same time. The santal is warm, with a woody base and a slightly earthy touch that gives it character; the bergamot is fresher and citrusy, but just as sophisticated. Neither one is a scent that announces itself, they're the kind people notice when they're close and can't quite place what it is... but they like it. The texture genuinely surprised me. It doesn't leave a single white mark (I checked ten minutes after applying, nothing). Plus it's so hydrating that my underarms end up feeling better cared for than with a lot of body lotions I've tried. What convinced me the most was how long it lasts: 48 hours without reapplying. I'd never had that happen with an aluminum-free deodorant, I'm usually reapplying by mid-afternoon just in case. With this one, I shower, put it on, and forget about it for the rest of the day. There's also something kind of mental about using it: it's not just knowing you don't smell bad, it's feeling like you smell good, with that quiet confidence that doesn't need constant checking. The packaging, on top of everything, is a detail I didn't expect to enjoy so much. It looks refined, elegant. If you were looking for a sign to try an aluminum-free deodorant that actually delivers, nice texture, a scent with personality, and lasting power, this is it.

I have been wanting to try this brand for a while now and couldn't justify spending the money on it. Well, I finally bit the bullet and bought the hair and body mist and deodorant. I haven't received the body mist yet. Today was my first time using the deodorant. Right out the gate, the packaging is very cute. And the aroma really grabbed my attention. The product smells amazing, it's grainy on the skin when you apply it. I read many reviews saying the smell doesn't last long. So I did my homework on figuring out how to prevent it from fading out too quickly. Sadly, nothing has worked as of yet. I have had to re-apply it 3 times today already and since it is aluminum free (not a bad thing, one of the many reasons I bought it) you sweat through it, and it smells worse than had it just been sweat alone in the first place. I really do love the scent, I just wish it would last longer. I don't think I can justify buying the deodorant again. Maybe in winter months! I hope the hair and body mist last longer. I feel like if I used this deodorant daily, at this rate, I'd run out in a week or 2. Also, it is kinda burning my skin. That may be a personal issue, but I do not have any allergies aside from latex as far as topical products go. I've also never used anything like this before.

Note that this is not an anti-perspirant, only a deodorant. You will still sweat. The smell of the deodorant is lovely and it does indeed last long, but it can come off as an odd odor if it mixes with your natural body chemistry, depending on each person. So be mindful of that and decide for yourself if it's a smell you care for. I appreciate the formulation in this though because I had been getting dark rashes from deodorants with aluminum in it. This one has possibly aided in fading the discoloration of my skin, and I've only had it for maybe 1-2 months. Again though, it may vary from person to person. I personally have had a decent experience using it.

I absolutely love this brand. I ordered the travel size as my very first purchase so that I could try the different scents. I thought this way if I liked the product I would know which scent I favored when ordering the full size. That didn’t work. I love them all! I am very sensitive to scents and do not like anything over powering and I am not a fan of floral scents. These scents are mild and smell lovely. They do not give me a headache. The deodorant itself is very nice. I am have to take care when selecting items for my skin as I have HS which mostly flares in my armpits. This glides on so nicely, doesn’t tug or pull when applying, doesn’t stain my clothes, has clean ingredients that doesn’t irritate my skin, cause flare-ups. I will definitely purchase again.. my only dilemma is which scent?

Creamy formula that takes a bit of time to dry down, and it’s best not to disturb it for about 5 minutes after use to allow it to dry naturally. It does not transfer or have a white residue if you let it dry completely. No harsh chemicals or aluminum formula is non- irritating for sensitive skin, even after a shave, no burn or redness noted. Smell is like a warm, deep rose - it’s definitely mixed with another fragrance - just not sure what it is, but it smells great. The scent is noticeable for hours after use. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a deodorant or anti-perspirant smell last this long, even the next day you can still smell it. It does not have a sticky residue, it feels damp on the underarms until it dries completely. It’s pricey for a deodorant, but I find it, worth it for the value of not having to reapply several times during the day.

Update: I have adjusted to the scent and no longer get a headache, but I do still believe that this scent is a little too masculine for me. It seems to last all day and I haven’t noticed being stinky. It is not an anti-perspirant so I still sweat, but this is not unexpected. The one new thing that I have noticed is that this deodorant leaves greasy marks on my clothes, especially when I am wearing more snug fitting items. This is pretty frustrating because now in addition to sweat marks under my arms on sweaty days, I have greasy deodorant marks that are visible through my clothes even on cool days where I’m not sweating. I don’t think I will be buying this again due to the marks on my clothes. Original review: Not sure how to rate this. I tried out all of the scents in person at Sephora and decided I liked the bergamot and hook and the rose and oud the best. I put one on each arm and wandered around a bit and liked the freshness of the bergamot better than the floral rose. I ordered it here and tried it on right away, but the scent was a little too strong and gave me a headache. I also felt like it smelled a little masculine. I’m not sure what happened other than the application at Sephora was lighter than I used at home. I’m going to try wearing it tomorrow to see how it lasts and whether I can stand it, but it may be a no go for me.

Not working I didn’t like it

Very effective is eco friendly doesn’t burn if I apply straight after shaved. Very easy apply and the fresh smell is wonderful all day long. Is slightly pricey but you get quality product.
