Poorly packaged. The hitched was thrown into a box. As a result, the receiver broke through the box and the paint wore off in several places. I had to spray paint it before I could install. The wire harness mount is a good idea but it located directly where a bumper hanger is located. See picture. Other than that, it is well made, the bolts line up perfectly and the hardware is good. Make sure to have a good torque wrench. The bolts get torqued to 148 ft lbs.

Direct fitment to factory threads no drilling or modificating, when installing remove spare tire,use floor jack for support, use one bolt with no washer for guide but start at muffler side first then continue to otherside with bolt no washer for guide then install all bolts with washers

Very well made from thick steel (heavy but strong unit), easy to install (better if you have a set of helping hands. This fit my 2016 Honda Pilot like it was made for it. The hardware included was of excellent quality, and very well designed. The finish is great, and actually slightly improves the look of my car. Would recommend this as a purchase.

Bought based on other reviews recommending this. It is very sturdy and well built. My only concern was only 4 out of the 6 screws were able to be completely screwed in. Hard to confirm if it's the screws vs the frame. The other 4 screws did hold this down very securely. I was not concerned that it would loosen or move. .

This item is well built and a perfect fit and essy installation. I saved about $1,000 as a DIY person. The labor is certainly not worth $ 1,000. DIY but have a friend to help. Not reslly a one person job. I tied the hitch receiver in place (run a rope through the receiver then tie to the latch). Then we lifted the sides and bolted it in place. Just minutes of work.

10 Minutes and hauling a trailer on my 2020 MDX. Heavy duty with great installation points. Nothing needed but a 22” socket and some muscles to hold it!

I have a Honda pilot and this hitch fit perfectly does the job well. Saves us a lot of money just buying it and having a mechanic come to the house and put it on. Haven't pulled anything with it just for extra storage options and mounting bikes.

Initially, when i tried installing it. I thought that i have received incorrect bolts!! Bolts were getting stuck after couple of turns. The main culprit in that case is (Rust). I had to apply WD-40 rust removal sprey to loosen it off and then use an impact drill to clean that area by running the bolt through it couple of times. Each backward-forward action has removed some rust and bolt started moving further. It took me around 10-15 minutes to clean each bolt but finally I was able to install this Hitch successfully. I tried to find the missed parts from many places and online in Canada. But i found only 8.x grade bolt. This hitch needs 10.9 grade class. I didn't use this grade bolts for safety in case. Conical toothed washer 5/8" x3 Bolt M14 1.5x40 CL10.9 x2 I bought the parts from Fastenal they have exactly same class bolts 10.9 class at about $3. Good hitch strong grade perfectly fit. thx.

All of 20 minutes for my son and I to install this hitch on our 2016 Honda Pilot without lifting the vehicle in any way. We did have to lower the small spare tire but that was easy to do. Top quality product and great value for the price. The highest recommendation for this hitch.
