I purchased this for something to keep the water for our pot belly pig fresh. It had a good price point (cheaper than locally purchasing at a farm supply store) so I decided to give it a try. I needed something to keep water circulating. I wanted to avoid the issues with summer heat creating stale and stagnant water (something that has been a problem over the years).It is really easy to install and we have been using it with no issues. It runs all day without issues. Good value for the money, it actually saves me money after the initial investment in the pump. I have to change out the trough water less frequently in the hot months than I used to. So my water bill is a little less than it used to be.Quieter than I expected it to be considering most sump pumps are loud and pretty annoying. This one has a bit of a hum to it, but you get used to it fairly fast.The cord is only 6 foot, that worked out well for me. But I could see it maybe falling short for others, so depending on your needs you may also need to invest in an extension cord.This comes with several different nozzle attachments. So you have options there without needing to buy addition equipment to get started.Good value would recommend to anyone for livestock or pet water wanting to keep the water circulating. Also would be a good option for a small backyard fish pond or water feature in your landscaping.

Great pump for my garden fountain

This was a nice pump but the flow rate was too little for my application.

Used this on a fountain, approximately 5.5 foot to the top.Does a really good job.Not sure on longevity, but it has been pumping 24/7 for about a month.

Obviously lacking quality production features but the little rascal works. Pumps a substantial volume of water in a relatively (rather small device) short amount of time. I'm perplexed about how such an seemingly poorly made product works so well. Heads up - the rubber suction feet are not secure and can be easily reattached by sliding the casings on either end off.

What more is there to say than this title. The pump works in my garden fountain perfectly.

I ordered it for a fountain and it works great, I love too hear the water run!

So far there are no regrets. This 550GPH seems to be ideal for this hydroponic station.
