Good quality awning and good value for money, instructions were not the best but now I’ve done one it would be easy to do another.

That it’s a diy make it up myself , Why? NOT GOOD plus instructions for assembly were awful

Reasonable straightforward to assemble, although getting the fixing cords into the awning fabric was a nightmare. Additionally, one of the 3 wall brackets had no bolt holes in it, so I had to drill them.Once assembled and fitted to the wall, that was when the problems really started.The canopy would not retract properly, as the canvas twisted as it went on to the roller. Despite numerous adjustments to the various points of attachment, nothing would make it work. The front bar end caps were being forced out. The arms would not fully retract, in short it was a disaster.The roller, I noticed, was bending in the middle, which was not helping. I had to take it all to pieces again and reinforce the roller, which, incidentally, was only held to the internal sleeve by 8 self-tapping screws, not much more than 10mm long. Totally inadequate.To date, I have succeeded only in getting the mechanics to work, the canopy is still not going on to the roller properly, but at least when it is extended it appears as it should do.I have fitted several awnings in the past, although not as big as this one, but I have never had these issues previously.I would not recommend this item. Their smaller ones maybe okay. At least it was reasonably cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for.Down graded to one star. The whole affair has been an unmitigated failure.Just not retracting properly. I have decided to remove it and take to the scrap yard.Having bit the bullet, I have now purchased a full cassette model to replace it.Definitely not recommended.

I purchased this to attach to my van as it is advertised 10KG, It certainly felt a lot heavier than 10 KG, I weighed it and it is 57KG! 😡

3.5 x 2.5 awning....Good value with lots of different colour design easy to assemble comes in a good size box with quick delivery.. Only down side is that the inner cylindrical fixing was damaged and took me 2 hours to get it out and in to the correct place to fit the screws.. I suggest you don't put it in side the reel when shipping.. Great buy and have suggested other friends and family to buy.... *****

For the money this is a fantastic buy. Does what it says on the tin. Pretty easy to install if you have to people.
