Oversized Firestarter

This ferro rod is awesome, perfect in almost every way. It’s oversized, comes with a keychain ring, and will last a lifetime. With the right survival pack setup I’d recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. In my case I had to return it and go for the smaller 5/16” thick 3” long variant instead because I need the ferro rod to fit into the side sleeve of my Leatherman pouch. Yet I’m impressed by this product and may come back to it when the need arises.

Fire up.

Great size,good price and fast delivery. Magnesium and these rods can strike a fire even with wet timber. A must have for campers or just incase of emergency.

Large enough to last a long time, paired with set of magnesium rods elsewhere on this site, make a perfect fire starting outfit. One of each will put dozens of fires in your pocket or pack. So to speak....

Large spray of sparks

These are a nice size making them easy to handle and long life. Gives off a shower of sparks. Must have in a purse, glove box, survival kit etc. I would buy again
