LPS00516 Cold Galvanize Corrosion Inhibitor, 14 Ounce

Nice corrosion inhibitor a little pricey but it went a long way as the spray goes. Coverage was good and can be used as is or as a rust preventing primer.

If I could put less than 1 star I would!! Almost $30 for a can and the nozzle on this clogged so often that I got frustrated enough to jut throw away an almost full can. I know I’m not the first to complain about this on a review. The company brags about this being a professional grade product but I think is absolute trash!!!!

After cleaning a badly rusted section of galvanized steel I applied a coating of LPS coating. Worked great and no more rust.

So, if your a welder and using this to protect your work, there is no issue. But if you are spraying glass with this for the purposes of etching in a blue light lase machine, the nozzle spittles too much and leaves large droplets on what is supposed to be an even spray coat. Maybe I just got unlucky and I was the only one to get a crappy spray nozzle. Ended up going to local hardware store and purchasing Rustolium CGC spray can and that worked perfectly. . . . . and slightly cheaper in price.

Great stuff, but the applicator nozzle is TERRIBLE. I got as much on my tarp and shoes as on the parts....

Used before spray painting a couple outdoor coffee tables that were starting to rust. A bit drippy. Must press hard. Best to use on cardboard and with gloves!

Great for touch-ups and spot rusting on galvanized trailers subject to salt-water immersion.

LPS Cold Galvanized Corrosion inhibitor works great on my boat trailer.
