How does this process work exactly?

Every 1 qty you purchase is the cost for converting one tape to mp4.  You make the purchase for the number of tapes you want converted and mail the tapes to the address in the listing.   We will convert them to mp4 files and share them with you via Google Cloud within 5 days of getting them from you.  Once you are happy and give the go ahead, we will recycle your tapes.  If you would like them back, we can arrange that too.  Thank you for asking!

Is there a way to save or download the video from the Google Drive?

Absolutely.  You can download directly off the google drive and save to your compute or a thumb drive.

Question 3

Converted super 8 film to  vhs 15 years ago. is it best to use the super 8 film to digitize or the vhs tape? there is no audio, can music be added?

Good morning. We don't work with film, only with video tapes, so you'll have to send the VHS. We can add music for an additional cost. You can call 803-666-5360 so we can talk.

So the directions in the box you sent say you do not have the ability to scan 8mm rolls is that correct? If so, you need to state that in the discript

Thanks for your question. A Lotus Media we can digitize 8mm and Super8 film. Pricing for film digitization is based on 50-foot segments, the equivalent of a 3-inch reel.  50ft = 1 tape. A 5-inch reel can hold up 200ft (full 5" reel = 4 tapes) and a 7-inch reel can hold up to 400ft (full 7" reel = 8 tapes).
