Nothing compares to this lip balm! This has been the only thing we have successfully used to prevent burning and sun damage to our lips. My husband had a bad burn years ago and since the. If he has even minimal exposure of his bottom lip it splits and won’t heal for months. Dermatone has solved this! Even the discoloration of the lip is gone. We always have this with us. Blocks the sun and the wind with no weird taste or smell. It also lasts for a long time. We tried everything else we could find locally before stumbling Dermatone. Now we will never use anything else!

I've used a few different sph lip products (sun bum, jack black, burts bees, this one and the mineral sph version). It's chemical sph so you do experience a little bit of that chemical sph ick in your mouth, but it was tolerable (sun bum is the worst for that). Has a nice moisturizing consistency (maybe like blistex), not super thick or waxy or sticky. Best for winter sports. If you need it for water sports, especially in oceans and rivers, please use the dermatone mineral sph version. It works just as well, is only slightly thicker but not waxy consistency and warms up easy when it touches skin, it also didn't leave a white cast -- I used it on my lips, cheeks, eyelids, and nose to provide a better barrier while surfing because the sun and salt is brutal on my face. If I had to pick between the two, I'd pick the mineral version.

I am an ultra runner and have gone through so much chapstick trying to find a good one that doesn’t immediately get licked or rubbed off, doesn’t feel like putty on your lips, and also provides SPF/wind protection. This is the stuff. It is super thick just be warned. This isn’t your ladies type of lip gloss, it’s heavy duty. I put it on and it stays on for quite awhile during my run. The wind hasn’t gotten through and I haven’t gotten blistered lips. It does’t dry out on your lips creating a thick dried goopy mess either. I will have to look but a tiny tin would be nice just in case it is super hot out and melts…..

I love this product. I use it year around. Especially with the long cold winters where I live it helps keep lips from drying and splitting. In the summer I like to spend allot of time outside and this also helps there to with its spf 30 protection. My only complaint is I keep it in my pocket and it always seems to soften enough to come apart or stick to the cap. I still use it till it's gone but that's the one complaint. I'd still recommend on performance of it year around it has been great. Only kind I used for the last 5 years.

I like how this product combines hydration with sun protection. The formula feels natural, not waxy, and it doesn’t need constant reapplying. Perfect for hiking, skiing, or just everyday use. Having SPF 30 in a lip balm makes it stand out from others. Highly recommend!

Softness and last long

I tried each of these and they all taste really bad, chemically and repulsive. They somehow smell really good but no idea if the SPF works or not, I’m not going to try them again, feels like a weird punishment.

Excellent product! It’s the only lip product I’ve found that can relive my dry, sore lips. I highly recommend this product.
