I trust the Uni brand, I have a HDMI cable of theirs which has worked well. They are pretty much up there with Anker in terms of durability and effectiveness in my opinion (and from my limited experience), so I wasn't surprised to see this one get the reviews it did. I just recently bought a Samsung Book2 Pro 360 laptop, and unfortunately, if you want a slimline laptop these days, you apparently need to sacrifice things, namely ports (in my case, HDMI, ethernet and USB-A compatibility. I have three USB-C ports, so this was essential while I wait for Samsung's own brand to come (free gift with my laptop purchase).Back to this device, it plugs in reassuringly; it clicks in and stays in, no wobble or movement, and the nylon cable connecting to the main hub feels as sturdy as their other cables. It's almost a 'memory-bending' material inside the nylon, which is flexible but very durable from the looks of it. I haven't had a chance to test the HDMI or ethernet port yet but fingers crossed. So far, all three of the USB-A ports are working fine with no loss of connectivity or issues being recognised. I plugged in my hard drive and copies seem to write from/to the device with good speed, I couldn't tell the difference speed-wise between this and a native laptop port (although that could be the speed of my lovely new laptop). It's compact and stream-lined, so I don't think it'll take up much room in a bag. I have mine with me in my laptop bag always. If I had to pick one gripe, it would be the 'aluminium' metal casing, which, despite feeling lovely and premium to hold, doesn't sound nice when it touches other metal objects such as my laptop or the digital pen I keep in the laptop bag as well. That metal-scraping sound is always a bit teeth-grittingly worrying, but not because of the multiport adapter, but more worrying that it'll scratch my other stuff. Regardless, it's a very capable bit of kit and I'd recommend it so far. Maybe I'll update the review once I use its other features.

This is a neat enough device (though I'd prefer to have all the ports on one side) , and the HDMI and USB ports all work pretty well, but the wired ethernet port, important for me, initially did not work.I'm not sure if this was a compatibility problem with the 2021 MacBook Pro, or a hardware glitch. I suspect the latter as I _think_ it worked to begin with (I'm unsure because it's possible the laptop was getting by using wireless networking without me realizing), but now the device shows up on the MacBook as "Cable unplugged". This despite the fact all the networking lights are lit as expected, so it can see and is seen by the ethernet switch.[Update - 2021-12-11, 2021-12-13]After some messages from the supplier, the device is now working, so I've upped my rating. But I still think there's a bit of problem. It appeared to have got itself stuck in an unusable state, which was maybe cleared by some steps like this:1. remove device from USB2. in Mac Network Preferences, remove all possibly-related interfaces (anything that looks like a USB or Thunderbolt network interface).3. re-insert device into USB (without network cable connected). Two new interfaces should appear (USB and Thunderbolt) both marked "disconnected".4. attach network cable. In my case, the USB interface now changes to "connected", and all is well.I will add that the vendor was very responsive in trying to understand and resolve the problem.

quality is good but no use if you have 2 laptop to connect to monitor

The unit I initially received mostly worked, but had an annoying video dropout every few minutes, which meant everything momentarily reverted to the laptop screen and then back to the external monitor I had bought the adapter for. This was pretty much unusable, with the monitor taking a couple of seconds to re-dosplay each time.However, after talking to customer services they sent a replacement, and this works seamlessly, so 10/10 - a good product 9second time around, at least) and fantastic customer service!

Incredibly premium feeling and looking adapter, so much better than the plastic alternatives.It works great for my iPad Pro allowing me to connect it up to Ethernet where my WiFi struggles.The finish is brilliant, very in keeping the modern aesthetic of Apple products!

A great USB C hub that enables connecting to the internet through Ethernet in addition to providing extra USB 3 outlets to be used to connect other USB devices such as a keyboard or a USB memory.The build quality is above and beyond.

Dopo circa una settimana di utilizzo posso dire che sono molto soddisfatto.L'ho comprato come riserva, visto che il Macbook Pro 2019 senza un adattatore non si può collegare praticamente a nulla, e lo sto usando per provarlo.Ho un termine di confronto in quanto possiedo un altro dispositivo che svolge le stesse funzioni.Con occupate le porte del power delivery, una porta usb (con 2 hub usb in catena a cui sono connessi 1 disco rigido, mouse e tastiera) e la porta ethernet devo dire che fa il suo lavoro egregiamente e scalda molto poco (se confrontato al mio altro dock molto, ma molto meno).Finora collegando altri dischi rigidi USB si è verificata una sola disconnessione del disco esterno perennemente collegato.Altro punto a suo favore è il power delivery che finora ha sempre funzionato senza problemi, mentre con il mio altro "coso" diverse volte è successo di dover staccare e riattaccare l'alimentatore del Mac perché il PD funzioni (lo si capisce dal segnale acustico emesso dal Mac quando riceve alimentazione).Buon prodotto, credo che terrò questo come dock principale e l'atro come riserva.

As usual ist das "uni" Produkt in der Qualität, wie ich es gewohnt bin und alle weiteren Produkte von "uni" besitze.Ich war auf der Suche nach einem kleinen, handlichen USB-C Hub mit LAN Anschluss, HDMI und USB3 sowie sogar hier 2 USB-C Anschlüsse für mein MacBook Air. Bei dem MacBook Air ist leider das Problem, dass die Anschlüsse sehr spartanisch verbaut wurden. Bedeutet es gibt zwei USB-C Anschlüsse und das wars. Heißt gleichzeitig, dass wenn ich das Macbook laden möchte, einer dieser Anschlüsse bereits verbraucht ist. Daher musste ein HUB her, welcher die Anschlüsse deutlich erweitert.Bei dem USB-C Hub von "uni" ist genau das gegeben, man kann den Mac wunderbar über einen der USB-C Ports laden und hat weiterhin zwei weitere zur Verfügung. Des Weiteren benötigte ich eine Lösung um den Mac an einen Bildschirm und LAN anzuschließen. Die All-in-one Lösung von "uni" ist hierfür wunderbar geeignet.Ich habe die Anschlüsse alle samt getestet und sie halten genau was vom Hersteller versprochen wird.Ebenfalls gefällt mir die hohe Qualität aus dem Aluminium Gehäuse und den verbauten Anschlüssen. Hier wackelt nichts oder Stecker müssen mit dem Hammer rein und der Zange entfernt werden, wie bei anderen Herstellern. Ebenfalls habe ich einen anderen Hub getestet gehabt, welcher bei Benutzung unfassbar heiß wurde. Das passiert hier zum Glück nicht.Alles in allem ein guter Kauf und ich würde es wieder kaufen.

Lo compré ya que en las fotos parecía de pequeño tamaño para poder llevarlo siempre en la mochila y así ha sido. Es compacto y ligero, aunque muy resistente al ser metálico. Consta de 3 USB, 1 HDMI y una conexión ethernet. Justo los puertos necesarios que necesito cuando salgo de casa. Lo que más me sorprendió fue que también puedo cargar mi iPhone conectado a través del HUB, cosa que no ocurría en otros HUBs que he tenido anteriormente. El cable no es de goma sino trenzado lo que le aporta robustez, pero no le quita flexibilidad, algo importante en este tipo de HUB y sobre todo me da la seguridad de que al llevarlo en algún bolsillo de la mochila más apretado no va a hacer que el cable se rompa y deje de funcionar cuando lo necesite. La verdad que no puedo estar más contento con mi compra.
